On the other hand, he proved numerous times that he can play good with Muller in the NT, with Lewy in Dortmund. What if Guardiola lures Thiago somehow, I think it's unlikely but might happen.

Also not sure what he was meant to show the last few matches he played, the whole team was underwhelming so it wasn't that easy to shine.

He should stay one more year imo.

So long Gotze, I expected plenty from you, but you flopped at Bayern. You had your brilliant moments, but they were few and rare.

This is what annoys me the most about gotze. He is not a man, ready to fight for his place.

instead, he is totally obsessed with social media, his eyebrows, selfies, his hair, and showing off his girlfriend.

In other words, he is very immature and if he doesn't change his attitude and general mentality, his potential will never be fulfilled. Not here, not in Dortmund, not anywhere.

Neymar is far worse but it never stopped him from playing good and being 3rd for ballon d'Or.

Not too familiar with Spanish tabloids, but isn't Neymar at least getting some sort of criticism for that? I believe to remember something like that...Has Gotze ever been criticized for his social media use? The media were pretty much on the 'Anti-Pep' bandwagon when it came to Gotze.

IDK but yeah, Goetze should get some serious flak for that just as everyone else, not only footballers.

Not sure whether it's a factor or not when it comes to assesing his potential though.

Not much, but surely focus can be a factor. Being too obsessed with image and marketing in stead of with getting back in form/working hard for the team?

Maybe, hard to say. The team wasn't playing too good when he returned so it's not even that obvious that he doesn't work enough. There's more to form than effort. I blame the spring time blues for example heh.

Somewhat strange to see Stranzl in there. Hasn't he been injured since he's like 35? Feel like all I've ever heard from Gladbach fans is how they've missed him this season.

Yeah it's off topic sue me :)

Gotze is a child stuck in a child's body. My 2 year old has less baby fat than him. :D

But in all seriousness, I hope his time at Bayern is done and he can move somewhere else and succeed. I don't think he's a "bad" guy, just not quite mature enough to realize what could've been at Bayern.

I don't like those player who take picture of them when they are at the gym ...

Stop talking, stop posting photos, just work and hard.

Maybe, and it's possible, he run 4 minutes for the picture and stopped...
