From Spox: BVB CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke, it could be on Sunday evening not take to put a tip in the direction of Munich stuff Götze. "Someone told him that he was the absolute desire player Pep Guardiola. And at some point he has then found out that the so was not," he said in the ZDF .

In München habe ich viel dazugelernt, habe mit Weltklassespielern gespielt, bin gereift und habe auch aus Rückschlägen gelernt. Insgesamt war ich in München glücklich und bin es jetzt in Dortmund auch“

Nice words from Gotze, despite all. Unlike that cunt Kroos.

In BILD they talked about Gotze situation in BVB who is the same as those in Bayern.

With Tuchel BVB changed in a little Bayern where winger has to be 1v1 specialist and where CM have to control the game.

It's gonna be a problem for Gotze.

Yes, BVB in Tuchel's 2nd season has even a copy of Pep Bayern 3rd season. But Tuchel's first season was much better and more interesting.

Because of Hummels, Mkhitaryan and Gündogan and a fit Burki in plus.

Gotze probably would of stayed if Carlo didnt insist on 4-3-3.

Gotze as the n10 and Thiago as the regista... Probably the most purest n10 on the team too

I would consider bringing back Gotze next season (if he is cheap)

So, according to BvB, Götze will be sidelined indefinitely with an unspecified "metabolic disturbance."

I know we like to joke about Götze a lot and he tends to catch a lot of flack around here...but, in all seriousness, hopefully it is not too serious and he is able to recover quickly and well....however, the way they have worded it has me worried.

WOW!
According to SZ, Mario Goetze has myopathy, a serious and rare disease that leads to fatigue and weakening of muscles. [source]
If this is true it could not only mean his career is probably over, but there would be concerns about whether it could lead to death as well (from what I read about the disease).

This would explain why he's been getting slower and also seemingly lazy/tired.

Thank goodness we sent him to Dortmund before they figured it out. There's no warranty is there?
