This is just a poster example of all that's wrong with German football journalism. No wonder BuLi players are underrated, no wonder Bayern players are undervalued in the transfer market.

I'd like to see an English football magazine downgrading De Gea or Courtois as "no longer world class", because of 1 mistake and for a host of other reasons that aren't anything they could do something about. Hell will freeze over before that happens. But in Germany, the so called football pundits are backstabbing our very best players with idiotic evaluations like that.

Found out now that in the print edition, Kicker leaves no doubt that in princible they still consider Neuer the world's best in his position.

The world's best in his position isn't world class. That kind of logic is only possible in Germany.

Unfortunately you Germans have a low self esteem and I know from where this is coming...
You shall not... You are the best Nation in Europe if not in the whole World
You should not be afraid to say how proud you are of your fatherland and to carry a German flag.
This is the problem with post war Germans.
Because of all the above you are losing your identity
Sorry for this but I could not hold off writing it...

Neuer is absolute world class. Boateng too. Kicker can just go and f**k themselves.

Love Neuer but I think others are catching him up. Neuer's dipped just a little. Still top though

Maybe this is a trick to get him more hyped for the next season and euros

100 agreed... I mean if Neuer and Boateng are not world class, then who is??

Neuer is the definition of world class!! Hell! he is Universe class for me...
And Boateng is clearly among the top 3-4 center backs, if not the best...

Neuer is one of my favorite players, he's easily the best goalkeeper in the world.

I still recall that attractive and fantastic night in Marseille or München where Neuer was no. 1 name of the match. So many great saves and there was one really spectacular. I'd like to see those highlights once again.

Brilliant goalkeeper! He can't compete with Kahn's personality, but his football qualities and skills are great and if Manu remains on a top level in the next 8 years, I believe he'll overtake Kahn's place.

I thought they'd choose the "breakdance save" in Rome, or the save from Reus' freekick. EPL fanbots will make sure that Courtois is winning anyway.

Didn't sound like he's planning on playing for another eight years in the latest Kicker-interview (he was asked whether he intends to overtake Bastian's record of eight championships and he replied "how long do you expect me to play?")

And honestly I prefer his personality over Kahn's by a mile.
