There's an article on this topic on ESPNFC, too.

For those who can read German or who'd like to google-translate it, the FAZ interview linked in that article is also quite good.

Fifth consecutive season reaching to semifinal of UCL for Neuer, first with Schalke, next four with Super Bayern, a very busy career for the world best goalkeeper.

Top goalkeepers according to ESPN [source]

Seems fair to me that ESPN ranks Courtois as the best goalkeeper in the world. I mean, Neuer has yet to win a Premier League winner's medal (World Cup and Bundesliga is overrated), and Neuer doesn't have to keep behind that 9-0-1 Chelsea formation.

We really need some better analysts than ESPNFC, Fox Sports, and Bleacher Report in our country...

Putting Joe Hart in a Top 10 list that isn't about shampoo models is ridiculous.

The Premier League marketing machinery will do everything to keep the Bundesliga at bay. Especially now that they'll be overtaken in the UEFA coefficients. Too much money at stake. I expect either Courtois or De Gea being campaigned for World Goal Keeper next.

Anyway, has anyone heard about this?

There are also Bastian, Mueller, Robben and Badstuber... liked them all... Badstuber said "nothing will stop me". I really hope that he'll be back better than before
