The Official DFB website paid tribute to his 50th Birthday with a very good interview, other than the logical contradictions when Lothar tries to explain himself he make some interesting points about football. I am glad to hear from him thoughts about the Bundesliga becoming the No.1 League in the World in the near future.

Franz Beckenbauer has a knack for speaking too much, but he has just overdid himself. Jupp Heynckes has not even joined FC Bayern yet, but Beckenbauer has already suggested that Lothar Matthäus be his successor.

We also were talking about his successor lol, he's just coming for 2 years. He should have never left Bayern, he always made good comments (truth hurts sometimes) and LVG could have been fired earlier with him.

As a coach, Matthaus is a very good player.

What I have a problem with is the attitude that he took as regards the coach. Why is he talking about successors when Heynckes hasn't yet started? I quite disagree with taking on a coach with the intention of serving for a short time. I think there should be a long term plan. I'd like us to have a coach who could stay with us for a long time, kind of like what Ferguson did with Manchester United.

I hope these successor coach discussions cease, and I'm going off-topic

I saw it today on spox, but i didn't understand what's happening. Why is he saying that they didn't respect him? What's the reason? He says they weren't prepared, but for what?

I also did not understand what happened

but My speculation

Lothar had postponed his London trip till the next day , to come to munich and analyze a match for JAzeera

apparently , Al-Jazeera did not schedule him to be the analyzer of the match even though they had talked to him

this is why I THINK

I'm still angry with him after expressing that he supports Inter 51% against 49% for Bayern last year.....

Shame on you Lothar!
