my question is who's place on the bench is going to take? Bernat's ? or maybe we won't have any CBs at all on the bench?

Realistically speaking I don't see him playing too much in first team, maybe in 2 years or maybe if real disaster strikes and senior players get injured. Otherwise there is long way for him to play in first team. We should not think that Juve does not recognize jewel on their hands when they have one.

I think he will be given time (probably at the expense of Götze). Juve know how to spot talent just fine, the thing is they kept shoehorning him to the striker position and he is a natural winger so he didn't work for them. Since they don't play with wingers, they had no use for him and couldn't develop him properly.

Because Pep wanted another winger and there were a couple of sources saying that Pep especifically told Kalle that he wanted Coman.

he could take hojbjergs spot on the bench now that hes gone. I think the real question is when will Robben and Alonso (especially Alonso) start to fade away. Once that happens space will be opened up for the rest

I would imagine to start, he gets most of his time vs lesser competition off the bench for 20-25 minutes when we're already up 4-0 or whatever.... those are the kind of games where Robben does not need to playing anything close to 90 minutes and should be limited to try to keep him healthy throughout the season whether he likes it or not

but yeah, I would not expect him to have a significant role to start the season.... but I hope to see him get more than a small handful of appearance this year

At two million for the first year, time is - as Einstein proposed - an extremely relative term. Goes to five if he blows the candles in Munich twice. I'd say he's cheaper than OMG Petergone (formerly known and Petersen for you newcomers) and still one of the more affordable luxuries given the lack of alternatives (real ones please) from the youth camp.

You guys know there are only 7 subs in BuLi right?

So a fully fit team, assuming we are starting our best XI not counting Badstuber or Ribery, leaces these players on bench

Ulreich
Benatia (with Javi at CB)
Bernat
Rafinha
Alonso
Götze
Kimmich
Rode
Coman

A mix of Kimmich, Rode, and Coman become the odd men out, right?
