€7M loan fee split over 2 years, €21M buy-option anytime till the 30. April 2017.

Is this Juve's official website? !!!!
I thought Bayern declared Details of the agreement will remain undisclosed !!

Are they trying to hit back at us?  or it's not their official website?

According to Allegri Coman wanted to leave since he didn't see himself getting playing time.

Yeah, but he genuinely does look like a future star- Bayern are clearly buying him as a long term replacement for Ribery, which should have gotten alarm bells ring in Turin, considering how cheap they were about to give him away.

The value a player or the potential he might have is varies between who is doing the evaluating so there really is no right or wrong yet! Only time will tell who is getting the better deal.

see I think it was a terrible deal for Juve

it sounded like Bayern really wanted Coman.... so if they're gonna let him go, why not just cash in and reinvest that money now?

what is the point of giving Bayern a free trial of Coman for 2 years (at 3.5 million euros per year, which is pocket change for Bayern and in the transfer market in general) and then letting Bayern buy him for what could be a major bargain if he lives up to the hype....

and if he doesnt, they may have cost themselves 15-20 million euros in the process

I think it was a genius move by Bayern..... I cant think of one downside, other than possibly losing 7 million euros if Coman sucks..... but even if he turns out to suck, would anyone really be upset over the gamble they took? I wont

Not a chance he is a striker,he is clearly a winger but Juve doesn't use wingers so they sometimes used him as a second striker like Muller under Van Ghaal.

Honestly it's a typical Bayern deal (if true - I'm not even sure how we manage to get these things done like this - I always say jokingly that Germans like to know what they are getting for their money :P). Risk little, for a chance to get a world class player in 2 years, for still very little cash. We basically managed to get the kid with little risk involved.

Terrible deal for Juve. If the kid works out great, they get practically nothing (in relation to what he'll actually be worth), if he doesn't work out for us, they'll get a player back, who'll likely not be of much use to them either. Not only that, his value will drop, so basically Juve won't even be able to get a good deal for him.

Juve is carrying all the risks here, with nothing to gain. I'm really unsure why they'd accept something like this.

One of the weirdest loans(Oddo was the weirdest, see: baker Klinsmann), but let's see how things will develop through the next 2 years.

I don't think 7 mil € is something bad and huge for a 2 year loan and with 21 mil € option to buy Coman. The only thing what is surprising is Juventus. What do they get with this, i.e. what do they expect? What kind of policy is that when I see this summer something similar what happened to Milan after Silva and Ibrahimović departure. Not exactly the same since they have bought new players, but again the long-term strategy is unclear.

What matters me and all of us is Coman's performance at Bayern. Besides that, I want to see things cleared with Guardiola till the 31 December 2015 - either he extends or leaves us. That should be offical by then and after that many things will be very clear about Bayern future. :|

They always do, since they are a market-listed club and owe it to their stockholders...
Might also be why, from a commercial point of view, they "had to" accept the deal...
Also, he's not really helping them right now, he's deadweight to them... Things could change in two years... But if you sell a player that's unproven and of no use to you, even IF he becomes world class, you make about 30m... Besides the fact that you save money from salary, insurances and the like sof it...
Thanks for nothing, :pep: !!

I still don't get why Juve let us take advantage of them with both Coman and Vidal. Even if Coman doesn't pan out, they are the ones assuming all the risk, its a pretty much risk-free operation for us!
