This guy will end up being our best acquisition in many years. Pair him with Sané and we would have WC wings for the next 10 yrs. A think their ceilings are insanely high, much higher than Costa's (who is somehow one dimensioned). Can't believe the deal Juve gave us for Coman.

How's Costa one dimensional ? The guy can do it all. He can play LW, RW, CAM. Is lightning fast, has great dribble and his passes and crosses are spot on. The only thing he could develop is his finishing skills. Other than that he's as complete as it gets

It was really interesting seeing him play in the center yesterday - at time he looked even more dangerous than when he was on the wings. The flexibility is there...

I actually thought Costa played impressive in the middle. He was really good at the interplay in short spaces and was a threat all across the field. I think he is an extremely good backup when needed at CAM

He seems a bit indifferent sometimes on the pitch. I think he also needs to help more defensively but overall he is dangerous on the wing.

The impact that Robben's addition made in this club was immense so he still has a long way to go before being considered on par with the Dutchman. The Dutchman doesn't look like he's giving up anytime soon... he's getting better with age.

I much prefer Coman on the left and Costa on the right..... Coman is much less predictable than Costa on the left

when Costa is on the right, he's much more of a threat to cut back towards the middle and attempt a shot, rather than trying to get to the end line and cross it..... he rarely looks to cut back and/or shoot from the left

The good thing about CoCo is that they can switch sides at will.

He needs more personality and workrate, but he's still too young. Looks good :D

I've never seen a player below 20 making his case to become a starter THIS well in the last 10 years...
I still think Costa is too "bad" of a finisher to play on the right, but Coman is ale to play on both sides and I think he's getting better by the game... You can actually see his confidence grow... Well done!

He needs a surveillance camera 24/7... I'm afraid that Robben might do something to him.
I would suggest him not to take food from Robben or anything in the next days.

Well, kind of - but Alaba was on loan first and then brought in by Heynckes as kind of a "makeshift solution"... And I think he was already over 20 back then?!
Whatever - if he turns out like Alaba I think there will be a lot of joyful tears - and not just mine :P :D
