Well he barely played with them, eventhough there were whispers of him being a talent back then.

At the moment I'm not gonna let his stats overrate his current capabilities since Bayern is a stacked attacking team. But his dribbling is on point once again, never thought I would see a 19 yr old in a Bayern shirt do that, but he is only second to Thiago.

Didier Deschamps said he is closely monitoring Coman, which means IMO that if he maintains his good performances with Bayern, he may be included in the Euro 16 squad.

Yes, and we didn't have to pay a ridiculous amount of money for them.

What I don't get about this Coman deal is why Juve would do it in the first place? Especially since now they seem to want to play with wingers after getting Cuadrado.....

Stuff like this makes me feel grateful that Bayern is run with competence at the very least...

And the best thing is, if he continues to develop and playing like he's playing we should trigger the buy option in the end of his 2 year loan and then offer him a 5 year contract, therefore binding him to the club until he's 26...

I think he has the potential to become one of the best players in Europe, not before his time obviously. It will take a good few years, but if he has the motivation I think he can do it, and there's no better team to develop him than Bayern, IMO. He may be young, but he deserves all the playing time he's got, so far. Hopefully he continues in much the same fashion, he'll soon become a fan favourite, if he hasn't already.

Incredible, but true. He has really made much more than expected from the minutes he has gotten. Doesn't even feel like we are affording time to a youngster, but more like he were a established (if maybe below par*) regular. At this point, I'm not sure playing someone like Rafinha or even Götze is safer than playing Coman.

* Compared to Lewy, Robben, Müller, etc. No wonder ;)

Precisely my point, he may not have gotten much time so far, but he's doing everything he can to prove himself. And rightly so at his age, playing for one of the worlds biggest clubs. He's creative, defensive when needed, and intuitive.

In my eyes, he has Bayern written all over him. As for whether we manage to hold on to him after the loan or not, I think to develop into the player he has every chance of being, he needs to stay with us.

But that said, if he goes back to Juve, I can see him with a Bayern future at some stage down the line.
