Enough to say that we already saw him...
Also, we don’t know whether or not we will... We have gad quite a number of legendary coaches - within the last 45 years - don’t know about you but I hope to at least live that long

Maybe because I was too young and only remember his second stint clearly but as great as he is Jupp feels better. Maybe it's treble bias, too.

Jupp: With Kimmich, Tolisso, Süle and other youngsters we have, the building blocks for the future are already here. This is necessary for when the players who have helped shape the club for many years are no longer there.

Qquestion for Jupp: Has the new coach been decided?
Jupp: "There is still nothing

Jupp on rumours surrounding David Alaba: The boy has just said he could imagine a new experience one day. There is no need to make a big fuss about it.

To be honest compared to the lunatics Gottmar Hitzfeld trained Jupp Heynckes job was a piece of cake 8)
That guys back then where savages compared to any team atm in the world
I love Jupp but Ottmar was a little more flexible tactically but Jupp's preparation before the games is superior I think, Kahn,Effe,Matthaus,Basler and all the other crazies didn't need a speech, they geared up and went out straight to kick some @ss, man I miss those times and those constantly pissed off angry attitudes and faces.

Can't see tweet? Click here!

This idiot needs to keep his mouth shut!!
Why is he saying the same thing again and again? it means only one of these 2:-
1. He is a sadist and he enjoys seeing people sad.
2. He is loving the fact that Jupp is leaving.

Christian Falk is the greatest FC Bayern reporter, and he's having to report that as a professional, to contradict the false hope that FC Bayern bosses are giving to their fans. If you insist on burying your head in the sand, you're free to not listen to what Falk is saying, but when FC Bayern eventually announce next season's coach don't blame anyone but yourself for the shock you may get.

He's probably having to say it again as Jupp seemed to troll a bunch of reporters saying "I didn't say I'd leave June 30th" and people took it seriously and now think he's returning...

I will state the ground reality..
nobody here would be complaining if Jupp renews also everybody here knows that the candidates being discussed to replace him are leagues behind Jupp..

So even though I know it will not be easy for Jupp but if I would be Hoeness I would also do the same as him.
And yes, I too want Jupp to stay. If a very good alternative becomes available..like Low..then ok he can leave.

Jupp for another season would be a dream, but it may hurt us long-term.

Tuchel is IMO the best possible successor, among those coaches that available and even among those who aren't. If we were to extend Jupp for a single season more (which looks unlikely in any case), then most likely than not Tuchel would accept another job and we would miss on him. If that happens, then the second best option would be a downgrade (who would that be? Löw seems the only reasonable choice excluding Tuchel).

So, IMO, the best case scenario is Tuchel in the summer.

This is my thinking. Unless they think they can get Nagelsmann (or who knows who else) in 2019, another year of Jupp probably doesn't make as much big-picture success. While in a vacuum Jupp is the best choice for 2019, as you say, other potential candidates will probably be off the table by then. And Jupp sadly can't go forever. So, while I wish he could stay on for years and years to come, at some point you have to start planning for the Jupp-less future :/

I have to agree. I like how the team is playing under Jupp a lot, and I think his coaching might represent a major advantage in the Champions League, but I'm very curious about what Tuchel can accomplish with this squad.
