Thanks Jupp for all you've done.

He steadied the ship after Van Gaal, and has taken us to the next level I think, especially in the way we play football.

Is it true that he'll stick around in some sort of managerial job? I wish that turns out to be true.

Guess not
Heynckes kept saying in every interview that Coaching bayern is fun and a great job but it also is one of the most intense and pressuring jobs in the world

I think that he is leaving just to relax at his house lying down and watching an old tv show without worrying about anything else

What role could he take? There isn't really a position available for him. A good manager, but I wouldn't say one of our "greats"

He deserves it.

Jupp Heynckes is not without flaws, but he is probably the only manager we've had in recent years who I really liked. He's done a lot for this team in the last 2 years and although I don't remember it, I'm sure he did so when he was head coach in the past as well. He's had a good career, not just with Bayern, and I hope he can end it on a high note this season.

Danke Jupp!

We're still 6 month away from saying goodbye to the old fellow. We would do better by putting the Guardiola fuss to rest when we resume the 2nd half of the season.

Yeah right. The first words uttered by the commentators of a Bayern match are going to be Josep Guardiola for the rest of the season. :P

I wonder if the players already knew in December or whether they found out now as well. It seems fitting that they would be told right before the second half of the season starts. They love the old guy, and it will motivate them to win something for him.
