Welcome to the club, Juan!

He has been assigned shirt #18, previously worn by Miroslav Klose. In fact, he's received a shirt number before Lewandowski and Rode 8)

Thats weird and they havent even given an official representation yet. I get Lewa since he is probably waiting for Mandzu to vacate the #9 but I don't know about Rode.

Lewandowski's getting jersey #9. They're just waiting for the old tenant to vacate.

Great performance from him yesterday. Robben, he and Gaudino the best players on the pitch yesterday! Keep going in that way! =D>

Agreed! And if we are going to play with 3 cb's in the future, i'm confident with bernat as a proper WB.

I watched the Hamburg v Bayern game a day after it was played - already knowing the score and taking everything in with a cold, unemotional eye. The game wasn't that bad - all credit to Hamburg's energetic pressing and solid defending. And I see no cause for undue concern. Bayern are the only team among the 4 German CL qualifiers still undefeated in all 3 major competitions this season. That said, it must also be admitted that there weren't many positives in the game either. The biggest one for me was Bernat. He is turning out to be a great purchase, and really offers a lot on the left side - in defense, in build up and in combining with Alaba and others. I would expect him to have a great career at Bayern. Bayern's future on the left now looks more like Alaba-Bernat than Alaba-Shaqiri.

I'll swallow back my initial criticism towards Bernat... Hopefully he can continue to improve.

Yeah, he impressed everyone in the last match. I know that we bought a talented, left-footed player for the future and this doesn't surprise me at all.

I supose Bernat will be just as good as they're saying he is and he will be.

I have to admit, i underestimated this guy a lot in pre season, because he simply sucked a lot there. But he proved me wrong big time if the first games this season, i hope he continues this Climbing line.

Great debut (w/ a goal!), but he's gonna have his work cut out for him if he's gonna displace the two other front-runners for the LB position on the Spain NT (Alba & Moreno). :) Hope he does well.

Don't get surprised if he eventually plays on LW position.
