He is outstanding in the final third, but he's not being that solid in defense.

If we can put our hands on a world class RB we can move him back to his natural position...

Why? He is almost there... Right now top-5 for sure IMO

Much easier to find a world class midfielder than a world class RB.
Kimmich should stay put and we have just buy a decent RB-back up U-30 and let them compete.

The best solution overall for him, Alaba, and a post-Robbery future would be a move to a 3-man defence with wing backs.

I agree but he doesn't seem to be 100% happy in that pos!

Why ? He already have 6 assists and 3 goals in 15 games; You cant find other RB in the World with similar stats, and as i posted earlier - his defence is more good than bad recently.

I can't see why do you think he is unhappy playing as RB.

I'm impressed with him as well but we are overrating him a little bit just because of how good he is going forward. All the good stats about him are usually goals, assists, passes, etc

But truth to be told he isn't doing any worse than Alaba

I don't know, I just feel that he is frustrated that he can't play in his preferred position...

Having said that, since he is a very bright young man he can play brilliantly in every position

Guy lives in London...? And that was the magic trick? . Dude, you seriously need to lower your expectations.

It is more like ... Munich guy lives in London (for a while now) and has interviewed more Bayern players than any other international journalist in the past two years, wrote the definive book on Germany's youth development system that led to the World Cup title of 2014 (among other throphies) and is about to publish the English version (German is out already me thinks) on one of Germany's more celebrated coaches (Klopp in case you are wondering) and holds a weekly/regular column in both Spox and ESPN both in English and German sites/magazines covering the Bundesliga.

On one of his regular Sport1 TV invitations he discussed Goretzka's (??) transfer situation with Schalke's own manager which led him to tell him he was "very well informed."

As far as "everyone in Germany knows he's not connected to the club" because your powers of deduction told you from just learning he doesn't live in Munich anymore, well, I'm not entirely sold on that one.

Then again, that's just me. :P
