We have all seen DvB mess up to lesser teams but if Bayern get a Celtic type team i think Bayern should be fine

He's managed to suspend himself for the knockouts, he's injured our primary back up CB....Dante and DVB better watch themselves.

Edit: Some sites, notably t-online and kicker, are arguing the air is getting thinner for Boateng:

Kicker.de & Goal.com wrote:Boateng himself noted that the wind has shifted and is now coming from the front. In the training camp in Doha, he said a press conference at short notice. "I will not explain why. I have my reasons, that's enough," quoted him as the "kicker". What are the reasons, it can only be speculated. However, the journal suggested that the boss Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and Uli Hoeness would imagine no longer unconditionally protectively in front of the player. "Then it is always dangerous in Munich."

They are unsure if Boateng is able to develop to the next level. He needs the "wake up call" during any other match and we all know he's ability to make stupid fouls (he even harms teammates) so he needs to concentrate a hell lot of more.

Also I found it weird that he didn't play that friendly vs Schalke. Can and Gustavo were second-half CB's.

Yeah, I'm beginning to think the guys upstairs are getting sick of his lapses. I wonder what's gonna happen when his ban is up. Will he return to the side as a starter or will van buyten retain his spot?

No one, right now, could tell you exactly, what will going to do Heynckes with him after his ban is up , but Boateng as a starter option in defense, begins to be in danger, after watching Van buyten performance this year, especially against Stuttgart, he had much participation by being the player who more passes completed and kept with Dante the Neuer goal almost intact.

DvB's problem is agains top class strikers who are quick off the ball so i dont think he will be starring too long. In my opinion i think Boateng is on probation, he will be back in the line up after his UCL suspension is up.
