You see Javi moving ? If Bayern expected a move from him they would never extend him until 2021 last spring.

It's always hard when you're such a physical player to come back at your best after getting a ligaments tears in the knee.

You should remember that he is coming back at a high level only for one year.

I see much easily Badstuber leaving despite all the love story aroud him.
Bayern 3-3-3-1 build-up under Heynckes :
Neuer - Boateng Hummels Thiago - Kimmich Vidal Alaba - Robben Müller James - Lewandowski
Neuer- Boateng Vidal Hummels- Kimmich Martinez Alaba- Robben James Ribéry- Lewandowski

Maybe we should move the conversation elsewhere...

Badstuber leaves, granted. Then you have Boa, Hummels, Javi, Sule, and all of them deserve to be 3rd choice at least.

We've been rotating the CBs often this year, that won't happen next year IMO.

Do you think that we'll waste a 40m signing to be 4th choice? Competing in midfield with Javi would be Vidal and Sanches for one spot.

And in the meantime not even considered international class by Kicker.

Could play all three next season. Vidal should be playing b2b, not dm

Cb should be the strength of the team next season with benatia also coming back and the arrival of sule.

I feel like whenever he takes a touch near the centre-line, our forwards would already know "oh shit OH SHIT HERE WE GO IT'S COMING MULLER RUN FORWARD!!!!"

The injury to Hummels and the start against RM is his last chance to show his worth and get a starting spot this season. Martinez has been too consistent, and Hummels over all has been more convincing, so an outstanding display is needed to have any shot at starting the rest of the big games this season.

If he flops, he'll have a very hard time playing any more big games, and probably not just this season. Decisive game, won't be easy with this kind of pressure.

Erm... Don't get me wrong, I love Hummels... But all of a sudden Boa is shit and Hummels is infallible? A year and a half ago you all would've pissed yourself with that statement... We're talking about the German player of the year here...
