I hope he'll make the next step into a more mature international top defender this season. He has all the talent that's for sure.

If he cuts out some silly mistakes and keeps his composure, I'm sure if will do.

I think the away-home games will be decided with the draw on the 20th.

Yes, first placed teams always start away in the round of 16. For the rounds after that it is determined by who is drawn first.

Thank god it's only 1 game. I really like Jerome and think he will grow into to a great player but, the "silly" mistakes must be rectified. He's just the kind of big, athletic kind of defender who can be Bayern's and Germany's enforcer for the next 5 to 8 years.
Reggie Jackson (of the 1977 NY Yankees) when asked, "What's the biggest thing you've noticed (about the team) since being injured?" " The magnitude of ME!"

That's a great piece of news. That made our CB almost-crisis much less significant.

Having said this, the bastard needs a spank or two so that he doesn't repeat this kind of crazy crap anymore.

actually sorry guys but i think it might be 2 games.

"I thought it was an overly harsh decision. It was certainly a foul, and possibly a yellow card, but not red. It was Jerome's first foul, so we were very surprised by the sending-off. However, we have to live with Jerome not being available for the Round of 16." (so probably both away and home fixtures)
