If everyone starts suing over insults it would be messy.

It's not a bad idea, to be honest. From Schalke's point of view, by signing a decorated German keeper as well as a younger, less developed prospect (in Fahrmann), they're somewhat placating the fans who are annoyed over Neuer's transfer, while at the same time ensuring that the goalkeeping spot is kept competitive and is developed.

It also wouldn't surprise me if this one year contract is part of a plan on Schalke's part to secure Lehmann in the future in a coaching capacity.

Is it true that Schalke are signing Jens Lehmann to replace Neuer?! Or is ESPN smoking crack again?

Oh so now Lehmann is working as a session goalkeeper? Anyways he's still good, but it shows how desperate Schalke are after Neuer leaving  .

This is ridiculous, if Schalke tend to stay competitive in BL, they need to find better goalkeeper.

They have Signed Ralf Faehrmann , 22 years old and 196 cm tall from frankfurt and he is really good

Lehmann will only come for 1 year as the experienced GK behind him

Why is there a Lehmann thread in the "Bayern players and staff discussion" section? Anyways, isn't Lehmann playing for Arsenal?

I don't know, he played for Arsenal, Schalke, Borussia, VfB Stuttgart and AC Milan. He has nothing to do with Bayern. :?

I think this is a good move and opportunity for Lehmann, Shalke are very clever in trying to sign Lehmann as he is very experienced and I think can use him to teach youngster Faehrmann who can learn a lot from Lehmann. Also Lehmann will get back into the game and will be able to teach his tricks to Faehrmann.
Bayern got to fix up there attack

IMHO, they should have offer him a position of goalkeeper coach, and bring someone else in, who is at least 10 years younger.

Yes, I know that, You already told me, but I was thinking of someone who would be the backup for Fahrmann.
