Point taken from that last photo: The Martínez family definitively does NOT speak any German.

Javi Martinez not in the Spanish squad for the upcoming international games:

http://www.republica.com/2012/08/31/jav ... al_541777/

Google translate:

Javi Martinez, Fernando Llorente and Juan Mata, apart from the 'Red'. At least momentarily. Vicente del Bosque offered on Friday cited the international list for the next two commitments of the Spanish team, a friendly against Saudi Arabia and the first qualifying match for the 2014 World Cup against Georgia, which further emphasizes the return of David Villa after his long injury and its absence in the Euro, and the summons of Beñat Etxebarria and Roberto Soldado in place.

A notable absence of Javi Martinez, who has forced his move to Bayern Munich, becoming the most expensive transfer in the Bundesliga, and Fernando Llorente, who has not played a single minute with Athletic because also wants to leave. Mata's case, however, may simply be due to the proximity of the European Super Cup to his team, Chelsea, dispute against Atletico Madrid, although Atletico Juanfran itself is in the list.

I'm very happy about that. :-D

He hasn't played any matches this season, so he should be rested. It's however important for him to get familiar with the club and the players who won't have international duty. I'm for Schweinsteiger to get a break so he can fit and familiar with Martinez.

Yeah about Schweinsteiger...

Looks like Löw wants to play him...

I mean seriously. The dude gets 20 minute stints in his club and the National Team coach says, he's fit to play.

Not true, refer to my post in Schweinsteiger's thread.

I wouldn't hold my breath. We didn't sign him to score lots of goals.

Taken from Athletic Bilbao official website.

My money is on: Announce they had no options to keep Martinez, sorry he didn't stay, no legal actions (or just don't mention it) + confirmation of Susaeta's contract renewal, team is in great shape/no new signings...

He will probably show off his muscles by using Llorente as an example, while only mentioning Martinez to show that Bilbao players have to buy their way out of the club.
