Maybe we should loan Emre Can to them for the rest of the season (Bayern pays the wages) and get Kirchhoff this winter.

Can seems to be in Heynckes' plans for this season though. I expect him to get a few appearances.

Damn it! I was hoping he'd come and ease it up for us on the CB suspension/injury issues.

Maybe, just maybe, it is a good thing. I mean two million for half a season did seem steep; if that Kicker figure had any backing.

So, does that mean that it is still possible we get him now?

The transfer window is still open, so yes. He also hasn't yet signed the contract I believe, which means it's also possible for him to sign elsewhere despite the pre-contract agreement.

Per the official FC Bayern iphone app, this dude has finally signed for us.

Signed a contract that will keep him here till July 30, 2016.

Stupid sexy Kirchhoff.

Looks like he'll take over the Kroos job of being the pretty boy for the team.

i don't get what was the point of buying him for next season.
and with pep guardiola coming, his future at the club seems pretty shaky to me.

DvB is retiring and Sammer was the person that pushed for this transfer cause he wants you german talent for the future. Whether Pep came or not he wasnt expected to get a lot of playing time and remember since Pep signed over winter break this transfer took place after Pep became Bayern's next coach so i doubt there is a conflict of interest

Pep isn't going to dictate transfer policy, so as far as I'm concerned, everyone has an equal chance next season under him.

Fresh rumours from TZ are linking us to a winter transfer of Kirchhoff. [source]
If this happens, it means that he would be able to play against his former club on Saturday.
