By the way is it just me or is James a lot taller than he's listed? On transfermarkt he's listed as 1,80m but I have my doubt when I look at these pictures....

"Number 10? I believe it already has an owner. Robben is a bald SOB. I was hoping never to have to deal with balds ever again, but it wasn't meant to be. All that's left is to fill his instagram account with "Give the 10 to James, bald SOB" messages" James Rodriguez

-Marketable player, will be useful in terms of expanding in South America in marketing.
-will accelerate shirt sales.
-we can use him as marketing object for China market.
-will be useful for increasing fan base, especially girls.

Those are just... pictures. Never rely on them, as well as the TV camera. :) In reality, most people are smaller than they are in front of the cameras. :D That's what I've experienced when I saw public people standing next to me or passing by. :D

He is 180 cm while Lewy is 185 cm and Müller 186 cm.

its been a 3 days since the transfer, and i still can't believe what Bayern did.
It’s a known fact that there aren’t much better, well-rounded attacking midfielders /also comfortably slotted at the flanks/ around the game who can create and score as many as James – at least when on form.
Loan fee of €5 million and €35.2 million to make it permanent ? Man,Swansea are demanding £50m for Gylfi Sigurdsson #-o

Imagine if we had kept Götze and he finally started to perform like he should this summer. That's James.

Imagine the joy of real Madrid fans when they signed Kroos then.

So many people seem to be overrating James, which is disrespectful to our current players. In my opinion, if we play with two wingers I don't even see James in the starting XI. I rate our current midfield much better than Real's last season, where James was benched.

He's great as a marketing tool but sportingly, which is what matters most, we need to keep our feet on the ground and not expect all that much from him.

Agree about the overrating James.

Disagree about our midfield much better than Real Madrid one.

Kroos, Casemiro, Modric just outplay Alonso, Vidal and Thiago.
For good football : Neuer - Kimmich, Boateng, Hummels, Alaba - Vidal (Tolisso), Thiago (Tolisso) - Robben, Müller (James), James (Ribéry) - Lewandowski

For boring football : 4-3-3
