Heiko Vogel

Heiko Vogel is our new U19 coach.
Kienle left to join SV Wehen (third league).
It's great to have him back, he is a fantastic coach and does a great job with youth players. Before moving to Ingolstadt and Basel (he won the Swiss league and cup with Basel) he was our U10, U13, U15 and U17 coach

New hope for UEFA YL. [-o<
He is the one who beat us 1-0 and dumped ManU out in 2012 CL season.
Plus he's worked with Lahm and Schweini when they were younger.

I used to rate him very high, same as Fink. But for God's sake his lack of action in that 7-0 was detrimental. Also the loss in Basel meant Rafinha was sent to the bench for the remainder of the league; possibly with justifiable cause.

I liked this guy at Basel. I didn't know he used to work for Bayern before.

Was our former U19 coached sacked?

Our former U19 coach left to join SV Wehen who play in the third league.

I have to admit he is crazily overqualified, but maybe he is eyeing something else, youth coordinator, DFB or maybe assistant to Pep

Hmh, I respect Vogel so much... I am one third swiss so there is always a soft spot for a swiss team in my heart.

Loved the victory vs Manu... the 1-0 vs Bayern not so much

But anyways, hes a great coach and maybe in the future he can become the coach assistant... who knows, anyways its great to have him back.

That seems like a prerequisite for Bayern coaches these days even Erik Ten Hag helped his previous team reach promotion in to the Dutch Eredivise. Technically he is top tier coach coaching a tier 4 team

Just out of curiosity, and sorry if this is a dumb question, but how are you 1/3 Swiss? Wouldn't you have to either be 1/4 or 1/2? Or like 3/8 or something? How does it work out to 1/3rd if you have 4 grandparents, 8 great-grandparents etc...
