You can LOL all you want but they'd knock out Bayern over a 2 leg tie right now.

Unless they run into Real Madrid or City , they are making it further than Bayern in the CL this year. Their squad is decent and they've now got Mourinho (who I detest btw) who is not going to give an inch in the big games.

From relative mediocrity they've gone to a contender with a few marguee signing and the Mourinho effect of getting extra from the other average players.

They have played weak teams in the league and CL. They are not that good dude

Ghana's Kwasi Okyere Wriedt named in Bayern Munich squad to face Freiburg [source]

"Should Wriedt feature against Freiburg, he would become only the second African player in history to pull on the famous red shirt of Bayern after legendary defender Sammy Kuffour (1993-2005)."

This isn't true, is it? Does Benatia not count?

Yes, they are missing Benatia. Bayern’s current U16 assistant coach, Christian Saba, spent 16 years at the club after joining its youth system in 1995 at the age of 16. He did feature alongside Kuffour in the 1996 Olympics, but any hopes of a defensive partnership with his compatriot at club level didn’t materialize, as Saba left the club without making an appearance for the first team. Bayern tried also couple more players from Africa, but they didn't make it to the first team - Sinkala, Thiam..

Today there was a small fight in training between Vidal and Starke. And no, it was not related to coffee.

From what I understood from the Google Translation (apologies if this may not be entirely correct), both Vidal and Starke were assigned to the reserve team during training. This might have already pissed off the proud Vidal. Apparently, seconds from the end of the session, Vidal managed to hit Starke with some force on his left shin. Starke then took a ball and shot/threw it at Vidal's back. [source]

If he is not happy he knows where the door is...
This morning I read that Inter wants him this Jan.
If it is true I really hope that we don't give him away as a Christmas present.

So Neuer out. Mueller out. If Robben does not play or gets injured, who will be the captain? I'd say next in line is Boateng but if he doesn't play which is not a low probability or gets substituted then it would be Hummels? But Hummels is currently injured so, Kimmich for captain.

I wouldn't be surprised considering Kimmich captained Germany.
