Good, but an even more interesting statistic would be one that shows percentage of matches they played in for which they were neither injured nor suspended. For sure Neuer would make the top 3, probably at the expense of Mueller.

Without injuries and suspentions:

1.Lewandowski (53)
2.Alaba (51)
3.Neuer (50)
4.Müller (49)

I don't understand what these numbers are.

Second numbers are showing in how many games hypothetically they would play if they were neither injured or suspended under Carlo.

That's statistically absurd though :(

You can't assume that they would have played all matches had they not been injured or suspended, otherwise someone who spends the whole season out injured would be top of the list :)

The formula should be: (((actual number of matches played) / ((total number of matches in season) - (matches missed through injury or suspension))) * 100

That gives you a percentage of matches played in matches where the player was fit and eligible to play.

I agree with you on the formula and the other things, but I think that we don't need mathematics for calculating how many games was for example Lewa is going to play.
Originally he has 51 appearances under Carlo, he missed only 1 game as injured against Real, and he missed one game for yellow card suspension.
For a player like him with a huge role for us and with Carlos tactic understandings , it's easy to say that he was going start in these two games.
We can say that for Neuer also.
The whole point from my view was to show to the mass of people who had the argument in other thread, that Thomas was given a lot of chances to play, and he's not a bench warmer.

I know everyone is reading the stats differently, but at least I'm trying to put some numbers which we already don't have here in the forum, and not singlehandedly just saying.. This is not right, or something like that. You know what I mean.

How about minutes, rather than appearances?

Muller has 3239 minutes out of 4710 in possible(i.e. Muller was uninjured for) in all official competitions since Ancelotti took over. However, looking at the issue that way obscures the real issue, which is Ancelotti's distrust of Muller in "important" games. That resulted in the absurd situation where Ancelotti wouldn't dare play a lower table Bundesliga team without Muller for fear of dropping points yet wouldn't start him when we needed to away goals against Real Madrid.

Yes, this was a big part of it, IMO. I haven't checked this season - but last year, in "important" matches (I defined this as games vs top-5 BL teams, knockout UCL rounds, and R16 or later Pokal games), Müller only played about 25% of "important minutes". Of this - he only started two matches and made only 9 appearances - the majority of which were at CF or RW.
Köln - subbed in at RW, 44 minutes
Hoffenheim - subbed into midfield, 21 minutes
BvB - starts at RW, plays 90 minutes
Köln - starts at CAM, plays 90 minutes
RBL - subbed into midfield, 23 minutes
Arsenal - subbed in at CF, 4 minutes
RM - starts at CF, 81 minutes
RM - subbed into midfield, 15 minutes
BvB - subbed into midfield, 11 minutes

Quick fiction scenario:

It's the end of the season,Ancelotti is gone,Tuchel or Nagellsman is in;
We've got Goretzka,Brandt and let's say - one more rotation player;
We're getting our asses kicked off in the CL by some spanish,english or french team in the elimination phase;

2 questions:
1.Who must be blamed for the loss - the coach,the players,someone else or everyone ?
2.Leave the Bundesliga;will be Bayern consider as a top european club if we've got 2 CL trophies since 1993 ?
