Well, it will mostly be Bayern, but we will probably take one of Messi or Ronaldo because we will be having a man down after Tommy Muller decides to play for his alien home team ;)

I actually saw a blog article about it yesterday with a number of different teams suggested by people who commented. I suspect they want aliens to take over Earth because most of them only had 1 or 2 Bayern players.

Franz Beckenbauer has announced he will be scouring the globe to select a team of the best footballers.

The former Germany captain and coach has taken charge of the GALAXY 11, a side consisting of the most outstanding players of the current generation.

The announcement follows Beckenbauer's surprise visit to Chelsea's home game with Manchester City on Sunday when he was pictured seated with a mysterious man in a robe in the executive area.

Similar characters were seen in the Shed End of Stamford Bridge and at Bayern Munich and Juventus. After the Chelsea match, the Kaiser released an extraordinary video raising the possibility of the GALAXY 11.

The former West Germany international believes their style of play has gone backwards since the former Barca coach took over.

"In the end, we'll be unwatchable like Barca. They'll be passing it backwards on the goal-line" he told Sky.

"[My vision] is different. If I have the chance to shoot from distance, especially in front of a crowded defence, I'd take it. It's the most efficient way."

I'll go with Kaiser in this one!

The main idea is that we pass too much even at offense, you have to shoot once in a while,we have superb shooters in our team, not to play the pass till you see the opponent GK in front of you plus that disgusting thing playing the ball back to Neuer and not forward when you can I'm not reffering when the opponent is pressing you like hell.

Against City,VFL,Leverkusen,Chelsea,BVB,Eintracht we have some moments of beauty and half of them parked the bus and we had 65% possesion maybe more indeed but we were efficient and made our chances but in some games we seem to be obsessed with that "superior possesion" and that makes us sometimes(!) unwatchable, not always but sometimes, passing the ball around without making an impact it's nothing.

It was Pep who said he told the players they would go with a conservative approach in that match so in sure he new things would play out like they did, but even with those orders Bayern looked good in the first half but failed to finish their chances.

Kaiser: Bayern style superior to Barca

“The criticism was first of all against Barcelona’s style of play, back and forth just like in the Circus Sarrasani,” Beckenbauer said, referencing the German circus that reached world fame before the Second World War.

“We on the other hand have found a good mixture of passing and looking for the shot at goal in the first half of the season,” Beckenbauer added. [source]
