He must understand that he is almost 35 and in declined since 2-3 years. And he is a burden to our team.

I forgive him...
I know that he didn't do that in a malicious way.
Now I am waiting for Lewa to apologize for his gesture towards Robben and Kimmich

Is it just me or did he basically say nothing? How about also addressing his ridiculous yellow card immediately followed by (unsuccessfully) provoking the referee into giving him a second-yellow?

He said nothing. Other than probably the fact that he considers the episode to be over.

"As long as I stand on the field, I will defend the colors"

The problem is that understanding his role in the team at his age is the basis for defending the colors. He should know that he can't play like he did 2-3 years ago.

I am a huge Ribery fan and I wouldn't mind seeing him in the starting line up every 2 or 3 games but he is claiming the opposite: he wants to sit on the bench every 3 games which means having his replacement (whoever that is and we better have one) sitting on the bench until he, and only himself, decides walks out with the help of a walking cane.

I'm dissapointed by Ancellotti's performance and results in these two years, but I really love that he teaches Franck a lesson of respect for the trainer. Second game from his outburs, and even if Robben does not occupy a place on the wing, Franck is still on the bench.

Why are you getting your panties tied up? He is saying to look forward. It's what people say when a change happens.

And how we should understand that?
Every other player is saying thank you Mr. Anchelotti, but he's posting #alwaysforward. Lol.
Forward to retirement I hope.

Carlo overplayed him and he wanted Carlo to sack. it is a joke or something? or Ribery thinks that he is still world class. what a pity for him.

if we don't drop his playing time and Müller's, nothing will change for us. we will continue to be predictable and slow in final third.

Why should he say thank you if he's not thankful? He is not double faced. I didn't say thank you either, does that make me a bad person?

He did the same thing with Pep,also.
It's not the right moment to make such a tweets, when you're teammates (even if they don't like him) are saying good bye and good luck,or did not say anything about him.

Exactly this type of behaviour is showing that he's double faced. He didn't say shit before, but 5 hours after Bayern fired Carlo,he's posting #alwaysforward;if you don't know Bayern's staff, you would think that he singlehandedly sacked him.

Man,leave my opinion alone if you want, but just open his twitter or instagram (and of other Bayern fan twitters) and see how almost all of the fans are answering to this.

End of thread for me.

It’s not like he could speak against his coach before. If he had publicly criticized him before everyone would have slammed him for ‘unprofessionalism’. He kept quiet when he had to and now he can say (albeit subtly) what he really thinks.

He may be happy that Ancelotti is gone, that's his prerogative, but if rumors are to be believed and Tuchel is coming, that happiness will likely be short-lived.....Tuchel showed ZERO hesitation in regards to sitting experienced/established players and "legends" in favor of playing younger guys.
I like Ribery just fine, and like I said he's free to feel happy about it or feel however he wants - but it does seem a bit tone-deaf to post such a thing while half the rest of your teammates are saying thanks and good luck, etc. At the end of the day it's no skin off my back, but just kinda a bad look IMO
