He denied it and said hes expecting to finish the contract.

Nontheless I think its a dumb move by Schalke to announce this on the day hes playing such an important CL game. What an idiotic mvoe. Magath is not like LVG who will react professionally to a dismissal. Magath might take this in a different way and do his best to screw things up now. After being fired at Bayern hes also done everything possible to screw Bayern over (as a coach of Wolfsburg and Schalke) and I wouldnt be surprised if he's going to screw Schalke over. He seems too hot-headed to peacefully react to a dismissal.

Schalke didn't announce anything I think
it's about the fcking newspapers specially Bild

I really starting to Hate it

also in the world cup they have stated and inflated the Lahm-Ballack dispute (from their point of view) just two days before Spain game and they continue to publish and publish about this issue and ignites this matter all over the days preceeding the NT MATCH IN THE WC SEMIFINAL and made fuss and people forgot about the match and everyone was talking about the armband

Also last week , they put the team and Van Gaal under enormous pressure after the defeat to Dortmund and continue that HEAVILY after Schalke's gameand started talking about sacking Van Gaal and after Hannover they said that Van Gaal is gone and they were just discussing candidates and at the end that was totally wrong and they were Garbage

and Today ? why announce that TODAY and why make fuss out of nothing just hours before an important match for Schalke and Germany ? WHY IN particular Today ? things and speculations can wait logically after the match at least

I don't believe it either. Magath saved himself with the win over Bayern. :(

And he's definitely not going to get fired if Schalke reach the QF of the CL.
