Saw Emre Can

and yes he is complete

did one hell of a Dribble against Panama

he is Fast

A Great leader and definitively a captain

good tackle

only problem , despite his great passing , sometimes he surprises his teammate with a pass and the ball ends as a throw in for the opponent

i wathed the highlights of all the german u17 games but Can didnt appear in any highlightg for anything special, but I guess that has a lot to do with his nonspotlight position.

His interview on Fifa.com shows he has good charactre with some sense of humor but most importantly, it shows modestly and responsibility. It is incredible how mature he is for his age, and posibly background. Not trying to be racist in any way but the Turkish in Holland rarely ever mature let alone at the age of 17.

Turkish players in Holland are disappointing. It's mostly Moroccans who make it further.

What a goal by Can against Mexico! I'm really liking this kid, he reminds me of a young Ballack.

I think he is much better than a young Ballack :) Hopefully he will become a superstar!

He was subbed off while having one hell of a game, then his team blew a 2-1 lead to lose. Can't blame him for being pissed.

Yeah, when I saw that substitution I thought "why?", as you said, Can had really solid game before he was subbed. But I don't approve that kind of acting. However, I'm glad we have a player like Can.

Can has good potential. I've seen a few of his games for Turkey in the U17 world cup (yes I know it's supposed to be Germany but most of the players have Turkish names and are wanted by the Turkish national side).

Anybody else thinks Emre Can could be the perfect partner for Schweini in the middle of the park ?

Maybe, in 1-2 seasons' time. Now is too early.

PS: moved your post here from the U17 World Cup thread since it is more appropriate here.

Bild.de Can Review:
Captain Emre Can (Bayern Munich) : Outstanding, as the midfielder led the entire tournament director and played strong passes. Trainer Freund: "Emre is the most complete player I've ever seen in my career. And some I've seen. He has the stuff to make it to the top. "Bayern coach Heynckes will probably soon take him under the microscope ...
