It makes sense... Carlo needs an interpreter more than anything else... he admitted himself that he's having a hard time with the German language. IMO he won't ever speak it good enough...

So, a downgrade it is. If Ancelotti had thought that his son was anywhere as good as Clement he wouldn't have brought Clement in the first place.

Indeed, but I suppose it is the continuity appointment. Trying to miniwthe disruption half-way through his maiden season.

Bild jumped the gun. Tiger Gerland to be first assistant coach. Exhales in deep relief. Repeats the process twice.

Well, he's gained a great deal of experience working alongside his father with big clubs. He might turn out to be a good coach as long as he doesn't follow his dad's "outdated" coaching methods.

outdated and he won it all ...
his downfall was his inability to communicate ...
at least davide seems to be more open to learn in fact he spoke German from day one

But that's why he's outdated: he used to be good, that's why he won it all. But he isn't anymore.

Tactics are evolving and changing very rapidly these days. One might argue, as you have, that even someone like Pep is a has been, but it's undeniable that at Barca he was on top of the world (and imo at Bayern quite close, but at City he's degraded). Mourinho is a past figure as well. Football is changing much more quickly than ever before, I think. Coaches need to be able to adapt which is why I liked Pep, who was willing to experiment, even if he went overboard a few times at crucial moments.

Davide is not allowed to have friends just because he is the coach's son?
FGS he is of the same age as them.
