Alaba has been super ineffective since Pep’s last season now. Need to bring in serious competition for the LB position!

Don't agree at all with the criticism. Alaba has been very good under Heynckes this year.
Especially when coupled with Coman on the left side, he's been excellent. He'd been returning to form before the back injuries slowed him down of late.

Our fullbacks are the players I respect more. They have to be everywhere, defending and supporting offense on attack.
Super-Bayern! Super-Bayern! Hey! Hey!

I think he's been mostly good. I was discussing with a fellow fan during Halftime of Pokal about Alaba's interest in Real and the fan said Alaba is better than Marcelo. Under those expectations Alaba has been underwhelming

This almost needs to be posted in the Alaba transfer thread. Only Lewandowski is generally allowed to say such things, the board don't generally appreciate these opinions.

I don't see controversy in his statement. He said there were some mistakes that they have to cut out. Besides the referee's decisions, we won the game for Real Madrid. And that must change. We don't want to keep winning the game for our opponents do we? He didn't say we must buy new players like Lewa said IIRC.

P. S. That statement by Kimmich is savage.
