I don't want to sound unpopular here but I'm starting to dislike Alaba a little bit. Probably dislike is too strong, but what I mean is that he probably spends too many time with Goetze and I don't want him to end up flushing his career through the toilet just because of Instagram and social media.

Oh, come on... you can do social media and have a plentiful career at the same time. Götze's case is just Götze's. I wouldn't even blame social media on Götze's decay.

You guys are seriously smoking crack if you thing that Instagram is the cause of Götze's downfall or Alaba's slip in performance. Alaba hasn't been played as a left back for almost two years now, and Götze is just a mystery. It's absurd to seriously think that posting on social media has had a effect on how they perform on the pitch...

Goetze looks more worried about how he looks like on his Instagram selfies rather than his footballing performances. He turned from a hard working down to earth guy to an Instagram diva and his career has been going downhill since then

This year Alaba has been pretty poor in every position he has played in. All the players go through this kind of periods during their careers, but Alaba has gone through it right when this social media stuff has started

Hope it's only a coincidence and he will be back to his usual self next season under Carlo, but I'm not confident at all after what happened to Goetze.

That's a lie, by the way.

I think that Alaba did not perform so well for Austria during the Euro group stages, but carried the team into it.
------I also think the Austrian team is currently shite.
I think some people here concern themselves with the haircuts of others, maybe there are a bunch of hair stylists amongst us who knows?
I think that some people here dont realise that players at a certain level on a certain team have usually a 6 day a week 8+ hour schedule, with fixed holidays which are short.
------which means dont give a flying fck what one does in his free time
I think some people just forget the past too easily because the short term is all they know.
-----I remember as both Alaba and Ribery ripped apart other teams

and what i know
Alaba will soon be a part of the greatest defense line up ever (till now)
Alaba- Hummels- Boateng-Lahm -Neuer

side note...needs to have extra work sessions with costa (combining)
all the talk about him wanting to be a midfielder, come on now, he already is, bayern drop a dm back and the outside fullbacks go up since a while now

.next season bayern will go unbeaten!!!! (in every tournament)
Statistics are like miniskirts . What they reveal is tantalizing, but what they hide is crucial.

Don't you guys think you're underrating Alaba a lot? He was inconsistent at times but he didn't exactly have a horrible season.

Everyone has ups and downs... this season he'll settle in one position and that will most likely help him... that's bad news for Bernat...

I hope that Ribery trims Alaba's hair while asleep for a prank.

So Alaba has apparently gotten dreadlocks...im beginning to see a pattern: maybe he imitates new players' hairstyle in order to make them feel welcome :wink: (and in the case of Coman, confuse the opponents)

2015=Coman
2016=Sanches
