Skysports(highly reliable) is now reporting the story. Personally I think it will be a done deal in the coming week.

Looks like he's got good physical attributes and a work rate to match. The last goal in the video had a bit of Maradonas "Goal of the Century" vibe to it.

Hi all, I'm back. Today our manager Les Parry has announced that Bayern have made a bid. He says that Dale is rather interested in the deal as well, but it is to be believed the price is £1.5m (inc. add ons). I believe he's worth at least £2m up front including add ons and sell on percentage, but that's me. There's a video on our official site which only subscribed members can access but here is briefly what is mentions.

I shall be back if I here any more new information. :D

So we will pay more than the media reported, but still, it seems like a very good bargain for Bayern.

Bayern Munich bid for Tranmere Rovers' youngster Dale Jennings

Tranmere Rovers striker Dale Jennings is on the verge of completing a move to Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich after impressing this campaign for the League One side.

The 18-year-old former Liverpool trainee has been linked with the German club in recent months after scoring six goals in 32 games, with his performances earning him the team's young player of the year award.

Tranmere manager Les Parry has confirmed that a bid has been received from Bayern Munich, and a move is only a formality.

"It's not just paper talk, they have put a bid in," said Parry, according to BBC Sport.

"I'm not too sure how close it is but it's moving along. They're keen to get him over there and it's a great move."

Parry continued: "Like with all transfer deals, they say they'll give us a penny and we say we want three and then we'll fight over the difference and that's where it's at, at the moment.

"I've spoken to him and he's interested - who wouldn't be? If you look back at the number of young players who have had the chance to go abroad to one of the giants of Europe, there's very few English players who have done that.

"It's a fantastic opportunity for him."

Injuries and a dip in form limited Jennings’ impact in the second half of last season but even so, he finished the campaign with six goals in more than 30 first-team appearances under his belt.

Oh well, It's only third division and he wasn't stellar all through the campaign... I dunno about this one, hopefully it's only because of injuries.

It's worth a punt from Bayern. It would be a very low transfer fee, and maybethe scouts have seen something in him. Something that they believe can be developed in the forthcoming years.

Good on the lad, hopefully if he signs he can seize on the oppertunity that he has been given.

having seen him play against my team twice last season, and seen a fair bit about him in game highlights, i think he's a fantastic talent, could be the next Owen Hargreaves (post injury) and at 500.000/1.000.000 great bargain

Everyone has to make as much money off of top clubs like Bayern. Really this gets old, which is why Bayern have surprised us with getting players like Nils Petersen and Rafinha -- although we were stuck on paying high with Neuer, at least that didn't turn out as high as some expected. But for Jennings we shouldn't need to pay anything more that what we were rumoured to be paying even if the lesser club is desparate to cash in.

I think for 1.5 million he would be a bargain in todays game. You will get great service from him and be able to sell him before he reaches 25 for 30million+. Your on a winner with this signing.
