it's gotta be for the PR... it would be so easy for whatever Bayern employee to say before the press conference "you're gonna need to change those pants"

We have long story with this type of gaffes. Although not visible in this picture, Jan Kirchhoff's shirt also carried Nike's 'swoosh'. Image

And it's almost certainly not visible on purpose.

When Götze came along his logo was too large to hide. Bayern were angry that time but probably realised it went viral and drew a lot of attention to the club, so I wouldn't be surprised these minor incidents are allowed to carry on intentionally now.

Maybe a little nike logo is acceptable while a big one or Bayern shirt used in posters of a Nike (or Nike sponsored) event are not?

It would be better if future arrivals wear a suit and tie like James did in my opinion...

Yup. So people can appreciate Jame's Tom Ford the same day Bayern announced they were coming back to Hugo Boss.

He looked nervous at times, but that is to expected for a 22 year old first game at Bayern.

I thought he looked more at ease in the final against Bremen.

I agree, but still didn't really impress. But that is to be expected and the difference between Hoffenheim and Bremen games already promises we can expect much more!

We saw that his strenghts lie when he's got the field ahead of him.

The one other thing I really noticed looking back on his play was that his passing was pretty damn accurate, just a little bit rushed. He seemed to go for the first open player he saw, instead of sitting on the ball for half a second longer and looking for better options. It's not a criticism, since its kind of expected for a new player to play the safe first pass available, but his ability to quickly spot the man open was nice to see. Give him a couple games to settle in and I think he will he will be a valuable squad player. I still will expect a 4231 for the time being since Coman, Robben, Müller and James all bring more to the table at the moment.
