You're right. I would never thought Jupp would be miss so much.

How quickly do we forget. Don't we?

Hmm I noticed a relationship between the two matches... Starke on the bench! :coffee:

We don't have the players to be successful under his tactical shape. He is lining us up like Barca/RM when we are Bayern Munich!

Exactly.

Real Madrid and BArca have the players where they have individual talent to create.

Bayern does not so much. Look at Madrid, there fing fullback creates better than 99 percent of Attacking mids in the world.

Guys... Stop it with this BATE shit, ok?!
That was clearly a day where we were unlucky, not in form and unable to adapt to the circumstances... We were monsters back then with few games where we didn't achieve full power - today we can hope for a few matches against week sides where we might actually only concede once...

People, life gets much easier once you figure out that losing in Russia isn't a big deal. It's Bayern's tradition since Zenit and after that 3-2 defeat in 2012 against BATE(although that's a Whiterussian side  ), I don't care. I even smile to our away defeats in Russia. :D

It is meant to happen... Germans always lose in Russia...oh wait once they did win....was it Boa who scored or was sent off? I don't remember... it was in 2009

We didn't have Boa in 2009. :) Not sure what game you might be referring to.

We beat CSKA just 2 years ago though.

International break, injuries, playing away... and possession, that sounds familiar. :P

MUTU wrote:Secondly, if we fire Ancelotti and replace him with another subpar coach who still wouldn't save our season we would have thrown money down the drain. We're talking several millions of loss for firing Ancelotti, so simply getting a few extra points (but not trophies) doesn't warrant the investment. Heck, not even the difference of winning/losing the Bundesliga would be enough IMO.

From a financial perspective it probably wouldn't be much of a hit. Carlo's contract is worth around €30m over the course of the entire term....If he were to get sacked the most likely case is that we'd simply have to buyout the remainder of the contract--i.e., we'd be on the hook for the whole €30m.

Meanwhile, winning the BL pays out around €38-40m.
Of course, nothing is guaranteed, but if sacking Carlo meant winning the BL, financially it's not really too much of a loss. Of course you'd still have to factor in the cost of getting a new manager but all in all the difference between firing Carlo and winning the BL would basically be a wash.

Winning the BL you get 38-40 more than if you were second place?
