Three attackers is a fine system if you have three midfielders to support it. Unfortunately he's never fielded more than two midfielders.

I don't want to sound rude or disrespectful, but Ancelotti seems to be like a quiet guy that just sits there on trainings and tells them to do some drills and stuff. But we haven't improved or seen any change since the beginning of the season.

When I saw Dortmund's lineup yesterday I knew that Tuchel had something on mind. We are too predictable :|

This. As I've said before, even if you hated Pep and disagreed with all his ideas, it's evident he had something in mind and was trying to make something happen and making changes (sometimes excessively) when needed. Ancelotti just seems to have his head in the sand and keeps persisting with what hasn't been working for more than a month now.

I don't know if some of us are getting our just desserts for dissing Pep all these years with Carlo's inability to change the team shape

I think Carlo is unlucky to come in after Pep as well. We've gone from one extreme to the other. Maybe we'd be kinder to him if his predecessor were a more moderate coach. :P

The problem is not the coach, but the wheelchair players we have in the team.

Ancelotti want more direct football with offensive fullback. He should take some lesson from Jardim and watch Monaco second goal..

via Tapatalk
For good football : Neuer - Kimmich, Boateng, Hummels, Alaba - Vidal (Tolisso), Thiago (Tolisso) - Robben, Müller (James), James (Ribéry) - Lewandowski

For boring football : 4-3-3

A MONTH?!? Dude, you been watching this bullshit? It only worked twice, Bremen and Hertha - well, and one was Bremen...

there is nothing wring with direct football and asking fullbacks to push up. the problem is the hope full crosses he is asking from his full backs. Liverpool is playing direct with attacking full backs and they rarely cross the ball. Ancelotti's tactics are outdated. They worked at Real to some degree because he had players who could get at the end of cross and because the team was build for counter attacking football by Mourinho he had the perfect setup. Bayern have different kind of players and he needs to adjust. So far what i've seen is an overrated manager.
