Carlo Ancelotti: "When I was a coach at AC Milan, I used a helicopter to come to training." [#FCBayern Magazine]

"I was living in Parma, and by car the travel time was two hours, by helicopter just 40 minutes."

"It is not easy to fly a helicopter and you should be able to assess your skills very well, but it is a safe flying machine."

"Since I left Italy, I do not fly any more!"

I think that it was his ex-wife who used to fly the helicopter...

He won't because :

- with the injuries, Ancelotti will not be under pressure to use Müller, Lewandowski ans 2 wingers at the same time.

- he wants balance and for him there is only balance with 3-men MF (Alonso, Thiago, Vidal)
For good football : Neuer - Kimmich, Boateng, Hummels, Alaba - Vidal (Tolisso), Thiago (Rudy) - Robben, Müller (James), James (Ribéry) - Lewandowski

For boring football : 4-3-3

Carlo Ancelotti: "Every league is different. In France they play more aggressive. In Spain they want possession. Italy is very tactical!"

"The intensity in those leagues isn't as high as the one in the Bundesliga. Here it's very similar to the Premier League."

With an important difference - in the Bundesliga they know what they want to play and how to reach it, not just tempo and run. In the other hand, Bundesliga is financially poor and everyone except Bayern cannot keep their players and offer them huge contracts.

No wonder Ibrahimovic and Ronaldo consider him the best coach. Ego-centric divas who need constant attention, of course Ancelotti's over-exaggerated magical man-management fits them well. And as an extra of course they love tactics which solely depend on crosses directed to their big heads. Too bad Pep spent his time doing actual football rather than massaging players' egos.

quoting what #12 said in the other thread, I think he's been given too much freedom

#12 wrote:Carlo Ancelotti: "We struggled a little at the beginning and failed to shake off Hoffenheim's pressing. In the second half we played with more intensity, attitude and quality. A victory would have been deserved in view of the chances. But that's football, sometimes you just don't get the luck."

You deserve a sack! Satisfied with this shit? You can play lackluster when you lead comfortably!
Last time we didn't concede and scored more than twice seems to be ages ago...

I'm tired of Carlo saying stuff like "there's no pressure here, it's way better than Madrid", "in Munich you don't have to win UCL" (even though we **** signed you to win this specific trophy), "it's the players attitude", "we've played well" (after shit performances)... Rummenigge, Hoeness - whoever is over him in Bayern hierarchy - need to wake up, and have a word with Carlo before it's too late.

Give him whatever he wants to drop #14... or the hard way, 'drop #14 and nobody gets hurt'.

Nah, the way he sees it he's only here to feast on Schweinebraten, drink the good beer and put our worst player on the pitch EVERY **** MINUTE there is!

Carlo is a player's coach.

Hence, why he lost so many league titles and is known as a cup manager. Still, the blame should be on the board for not bringing in players this summer.

Sanches wasn't a good fit (now) and Hummels isn't this great CB that people think (Javi>Hummels). Team needed an AM/n10/cam/CF this summer and got nothing.

While Barcelona got Alcacaer, Madrid brought back Morata and Asensio and Atletico even bought Gamiero.

Carlo went from a stacked offensive individual team to Bayern

Playing as team has been Bayern strength. if carlo is such a smart , tactically intelligent he should be able to take the best out his players. Buying new players because you are not performing well is not always a solution.
