He details in his own book he has no problem keeping up a board or more notably a sugar-daddy (or political mafioso) happy and adapting the team to the whims and wishes of his employer.

He calls it 'the curve': The period from meet up and honeymoon until he gets ultimately fired.

It all makes sense. He's not a liga guy. He's more adept to winning knock-out competitions than he's clinching long and stretched out titles. This can be, ultimately, the single more defying difference between Champions League coaches: Which coaches tactic their teams to death, and which ones tell jokes as match preparations half hour before kick-off. He says he wants his players 'relaxed' before a game, not stressed out.

By that account one would think his next team is poised to joke in some awesome CL trophies if he can survive a less than perfect local campaign. Either way, it just scares me to death how easy going he can be about getting fired.

bro he is a 3 times UCL winning and an established coach better not worry or be scared for him I am sure he knows the business better than us and MAYBE he can take care of himself.
only coach not to be sacked till now is wenger rest even SAF got sacked..

1st of July Probably when his contact starts and Pep's officially ends on 30th June. That is probably when we will see the traditional picture of him wearing a Scarf or holding a shirt.

I presume there will be some form of squad presentation at the Allianz as usual before the start of the season where he will be officially 'unveiled' before the fans.

Great new blog by our new boss, on the Telegraph website. Talks about Italy - Germany and his German lessons and excitement about coaching Bayern (and Sanches)

Really? I thought it was panderingly inconcrete, like most of his (very numerous) forays into the public eye via the press. But then again, that's how you make players like you, isn't it? Doesn't matter if you devote a paragraph to the in the Torygraph or profess your love to them in the training ground.

Guardiola was a man who control more easily and better any foreign languages.

He speaks a perfect italian, a great english, a good german and some rumours said he speaks a average french too.

We'll see with Ancelotti ...
For good football : Neuer - Kimmich, Boateng, Hummels, Alaba - Vidal (Tolisso), Thiago (Tolisso) - Robben, Müller (James), James (Ribéry) - Lewandowski

For boring football : 4-3-3

His German is an insult after three years of living here!
I mean, I've seen people learn German within months... It's a difficult language, but three years?! And it never got better!

To be honest, I took 6 (SIX) years of German, and yet if I travel to Germany I always have to ask people to repeat what they're saying, and I will most likely reply in English...It's a freakin' impossible language at times XD Don't even get me started on the Der, Die, Das, Dem, Den etc.

I had the impression that Dutch speak German well (the majority)
Tell me about the articles... At least you speak something similar...
My mother language is semitic with some Sicilian and Anglo Saxon influences and apart from English during my school years I was only exposed to Latin languages amazingly; French and Italian.
Started German in 2014...

Oh the majority can understand it pretty well, I am able to read basically everything. But speaking or writing it? Hahaha nope! I will need some proper time in Germany to be able to have a proper conversation in German (apart from a shop conversation or sth like that). I speak four languages, and German is fourth in line...so if I need a word auf Deutsch, my brain will first give it to me in the other three languages

Wish I spoke a Latin language...I took 4 years of French...I can only ask people if they know where my hotel and my bike are. #-o
