Personally i Can't wait for carlo to make the team his own and his system becoming fully adopted by the players who although will be parting with pep, i would like to think the passing acumen instilled in them by pep will still be seen in our game, its just that they wont overdo it anymore under carlo
secondly I'd also like to see players back playing in their best positions once more. No harm in the experimenting pep does if its a league game to cover for injuries, try new ideas etc but in big games i strongly feel each player should be at their best positions barring injuries and whatnot
Thirdly i woud like to see us become more unpredictable and adapt to different teams and game situations instead of the constant press and possess we do now.which i think is our biggest weakness under pep
And lastly in terms of signing new players i believe carlo inherits more than a competitive squad, but i guess a new cb wouldn't hurt though we'd have to wait and see what carlo says
Overall very excited and optimistic about anceloti

As I remember, Carlo played with AC and Real with boombastic starting 11 and substituted them still with same 3 or 4 players.
I am curious who will be fired or loaned in summer from actual squad

But welcome Carlo! I am looking forward to your work here. 8)

Did he have an option? It's not like you can bench Ronaldo or Bale or James, 100 million something guys

He'll still get the "never sub Mueller" thing here, but other than that, there's much less pressure to play certain players

The real reason Pep left us is because of individuals in this forum hating on him and the fact that bayern is not a team that only does a coach and thats all. There is lots of brain power behind this awesome team in many different levels. All of which have equally a strong position in decision making and guess who is coming back? ES GIBT nur ein Uli Hoeness,

sammer kalle its a big picture doing great things.

anyone who say meh we lost in semi finals in cl und blah blah blah, bitch pls a team that makes it to the semis every fcking year is awesome!!

Sacchi Backs Ancelotti For Bayern in La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"[It is] a great satisfaction and an honour to the brilliant coach, who, after winning in Italy, England, France and Spain will try to repeat it in Germany,"

"Ancelotti is one of three of the most famous, and perhaps most talented, coaches of the last decade: Guardiola, Mourinho and Carlo. These are the most in demand by large clubs, and when one of them moves the world market for coaches boils over.

"Carlo does not order, he convinces, has sensible tactics and imagination. His football knowledge is huge, extended by large international experience.

"It is difficult to find such a complete coach and good at managing and giving an identity to a squad.

"His teams play a pleasant and harmonious football. The biggest flaw is in an excess of confidence in himself and in his work, which has led him to not intervene in the squad and to accept players not always carry out his ideas.

"I hope this time he behaves like all great coaches who, to create their own style, want players with certain characteristics, optimising time and energy."

Meh... Magath has a better record than Pep atm and what does the goddamn "brain behind this team such wow" mean when you look like a div 10 team as soon as you face a team that you used to beat?

Isn't it an option for a third year?!

bastos80 wrote:Pep didn't reinvent football either. He just implemented his style of play into Bayern, which is just a more extreme posession game like we played with Heynckes in charge. You could only think it is "whole new way to play" if you thought we played counter attacking football with Jupp.

Well, actually he said "Solle der Pep doch den Fußball neu erfinden, ich gewinne lieber dieses Fußballspiel und diesen Pokal"... ;)

bastos80 wrote:One thing I hope for is that he manages to reduce our injuries. Altough Pep not having those problems at Barca makes me a bit sceptical.

A little maybe, yes, I think so too... Does not neccessarily have to be (only) him though... Did he change anything in his staff?
Thanks for nothing, :pep: !!
