I can't help but think Carlo's reign began at the wrong time. Like most fans, I wished we kept Heynckes after the treble, but if we had to change, Carlo would've been the perfect replacement at that time to keep the well oiled machine running. In turn, Guardiola would have been the perfect coach to rebuild the team in his image now.

If only the timeline was reversed . . .

The Maltese media are reporting that Ancelotti was sacked after two back to back losses, after we lost to Hoffenheim AT THE END OF LAST WEEK.

God they're so incompetent.

I was going to write an angry public comment on facebook but then decided not to since I share a rare surname with their head of sports

In all fairness with that formation he was begging for a disaster.

Probably the China rumors were not fake after-all

Yeah and I kept harping on about how stupid a lineup it was during the game, but if this is true it's just a whole other level.

I told you he was doing nothing but a quick pinning of the lineup...

Didn't think is was LITERALLY just that though

Hahahaha, right!! You, I and a few others had been saying for weeks it seems like he gives 11 names and basically says good luck, kick the ball to Robert.....But I was being a little bit hyperbolic, I assumed there was at least something a bit more going on there...

To be fair, he also must have written "cross the ball at every available opportunity, or I'll bench you" at the bottom of the lineup sheet. Because there is no way in hell that our players are dumb enough to cross the ball 58 times from bad positions unless they were specifically ordered to.

@MUTU . you still have to remove him from the players' profile page and send him to the former bayern players

So the potential Chinese move will tell us if this was an auto-sabotage from the Italian coach. That would prove that Effenberg or someone else who spoke about China departure in January is true.
