For the record, I'm really disappointed by his behaviour: how will he now have the authority to tell off players who overreact in certain situations (Ribery springs to mind)? He's usually so cool and calm, why did he need to do that?

Will you turn the other cheek if someone spits on you ?

If I was walking towards a dressing room and someone spat at me from the stands, I would have run for cover and not even make eye contact with the aggressor. What's the point of arguing with and offending the aggressor? What would you gain? By spending more time there and getting the aggressor angry you are only increasing the risk of another spit, or maybe something worse (like a bottle thrown at you).

In fact, several persons spat on him, and not just one, and contrary to what you say, his reaction was effective and fast.

They will...

Not a fan, I'm sure most here know, but his reaction is human and understandable in my book - I'd probably throw something or worse... And I am also in a role-model profession...
Thanks for nothing, :pep: !!

If it was me I would be more infuriated if somebody spat at me rather than if an object was thrown at me.

Kind of... Depends on what they throw... Thing is: by the time someone spits at you, we're already at a point where it's kinda ridiculous to talk about manners...

His reaction could have been faster. He could have ducked and ran. Or used his hand to protect his head from further spits rather than to get himself in trouble.

Pretty sure Kahn disagrees.

And why should he do that, so that they increase the suspension until the end of the season? What a great example to all that would be, defiance of authority. If that happens, then I would fully expect Bayern to terminate Ancelotti's contract with immediate effect.

The way Carlo responded was perfect. He showed he was the boss, he wasn't going to change his stride or try to hide. Those plebeians deserved nothing more than his contempt.

The authorities investigating the situation need to decide if they want to reward the Hertha rats who treat guest opposition so shamefully by punishing our manager. Do the authorities want to send that message, that those who go to Berlin can expect to be spit on?

Only sissies spit on people... sometimes those sissies will get more pissed off if you don't get pissed off.

One of the best lessons you can learn in life is to master how to remain calm.

Again what is wrong with the middle finger? It's part of our body and doesn't harm anyone just showing it If I were Carlo trying to explain to the DFB, I would say I was showing the middle finger to myself because it's beautiful.
