I think that was more clumsiness than diving.... he kicked up a huge divot about 6 inches behind the ball trying to kick it

looking at the ref for a foul was silly, but I dont think it was an intentful dive

Even if he actually fell on his own, there was still the intent of deceiving the referee because as you said he looked at the ref and he could also have done a Klose and admitted he fell on his own. He didn't, because the intent was to get an unwarranted penalty.

Dont know if you noticed but at the end of the match Rode comes to see him and seems to ask him "was it a foul" then vidal clearly answers "no" . Then they both laughed and hug each others. Not a really nice scene..

I dont care if he did it in a final! Bayern are enough damaged by decisions of the refs, so stop whining, this is football, cheating is a part of it. So many more important matches were decided by cheating, diving etc, I couldnt care less about fu*kin Werder Butchers.

If we had a punishment system implemented similar to that of EPL, Vidal would have been suspended for three games.

Really don't care if he dives. Dives and punishment for simulation are part of the game. Not liking this sanctimonious attitude of the forum.

I don't have double standards, it doesn't annoy me, except when it happens against Bayern (which is a perfectly normal fan attitude) and except when Busquets and Alba do it.

It's a total referees call, so I would leave the judgement to them. There are many, many reasons to hate other ref decisions, diving is just part of the game. Go and watch other sports where there are physical contacts. Everybody is faking something cause this is a sport, not a total fairplay game.

I would rather bash Vidal if he makes a stupid yellow or a red card, but bashing Vidal cause he dived, won a penalty and possibly the game for us is STUPID.

No one is bashing Vidal FGS... We're just saying we rather he didn't... BTW, it might not have been the most intelligent thing to do, now refs might think twice before awarding fouls against him in other matches (the Atlético one, for instance). Such has been the controversy... Bayern is light-years ahead of Bremen, it comes out petty to win by cheating against them..

Okay guys what if vidal dived in the champions league finals to win us a penalty in the dying minutes of extra time to win the game...do you have a problem with it? Yes or no?
