Yeah, can we put the drunk stories on bed by now. If this guy plays like this while being drunk, he'd a f'ing alien sober then.

What a callback to the old school midfielder he is. Not just his play-style, but the inconsistency and personal drama that get put aside during the big games. Going the Effe way he is. 8)

Finally a leader in midfield, just what we missed since Schweinsteiger left.

I've never seen a warrior on the pitch like him, but as it happened with Basti, Alonso can't play alongside him as they keep treading on each other's toes.

He reminds me a lot of Schweinsteiger in 2010. I think Vidal at the moment is way better than Schweinsteiger has been since we won the treble (although Schweinsteiger had his moments, such as the world cup final).

I wrote this about Vidal

zozon wrote:Vidal proving why he's one of the best box-to-box midfielders when he is motivated. Absolutely rock solid in defense and that pass to Lewandowski was great.

I'm looking forward for us to see his big-game contribution when the CL knockout rounds come.

zozon wrote:Vidal is a pitbull. Many many players would have given up that chasing of the opposing player. Looking forward in his motivation for the CL. He will be needed VERY much.

zozon wrote:I've always said that Vidal is a beast and always repeated myself that he will shine when he's needed the most/when the going gets tough - knockout phase in CL. Yes, he had a few games at Bayern when he was almost like a headless chicken, but I think that was his personal motivation/other problems at those games.

Vidal in his mood, form, motivation and good health is one of the best holding midfielders in the world, up there with only Busquets.
A full blown Vidal is way above Gundogan or any midfield transfer targets you guys are praying for.

I just hope he doesn't disappoint me on Tuesday :o

zozon wrote:Vidal is proving what I'm writing for him since he came here. This guy just knows when to push his form up.
I'm positive we will see the best from him when it matters most (CL tough games).

I'm so glad he proves me right. Keep on rocking Arturo!!!

Reminds me of Martinez in his full season. Nothing special in the first half, but mindblowing in the second.
Both didn't have real vacation and summer preparation with the team either.

Rewatched the game against Juventus. Incredible performance, won the ball before the 2-2,3-2 and 4-2.

He was everywhere, all night long. Legendary performance. The level of fitness required to pull that off is also amazing. How anyone can call him drunk after that game is beyond crazy.

Speaking about Vidal... He's not even on the bench against Argentina. Injured?
