He's getting quite a bit of hate from Juventus fans for his comments about having a better chance of winning the CL with us. To be honest, I find it a tad disrespectful (despite being true) and would have rather he had said nothing.

Well, not just that. I just find it unnecessary for him to disrespect his former club. Besides, gotta have some empathy for them after the Kroos episode.

Think about it. Vidal is the perfectly signing for both the team and its sponsors:

DM needs for Bayern? Vidal.
Player who actually likes to gamble for Tipico? Vidal.
Car active security features tester for Audi? Vidal.
Yingli solar new spokesman that doesn't look like he just spent Xmast on the arctic? Vidal.
Player than can show you DO need insurance, both medical, auto or otherwise? Vidal (Breno comes a close 2nd.)
Globetrotter as that new worldwide courier face for DHL? Vidal.
Earns more money than God so he needs banking services for Hypo bank? Vidal.
Earns more money than God but still needs some serious clothing makeover for Adidas Lifestyle line? Vidal. Luis Enrique from Barca comes a close second.
One letter Icon sponsor to replace that stupid star on his head with a simple "T" for Deutche Telecom? Vidal.

Actually, this is sounding quite promising. :P

Wtf, is Vidal retarded or something? He spent 4 years with Leverkusen and he still needs a translator in his ear at the press conference? Sometimes I just hate footballers.

Should have no problems adjusting to be honest, Bayern has enough Spanish speakers he shouldn't feel lost.

I only watched the press conference to see what his German was like. Non existent so I stopped watching and just read what he had to say on the official website!

He said he has forgotten practically all of his German.

That's not the point. He should speak some degree of german after FOUR years. I find it very disrespectful for him not to learn the language in that time.

Plus he can talk about horses with Müller and compare tattoos and hairstyles with Boateng.

He's also spent four years away from Germany. I spoke conversational German when I finished high school, I did not four years after that.

Hopefully he can pick it up again quickly. I know he's surrounded by Spanish speakers but speaking the language of the country you live in really does help when settling in, obviously

I bet you lose some of it but you don't lose all of the language skills.
