Hey, he is a legend of ours. He's past it, but that is still no way to talk about him.

I can talk about anyone any way I want. He's a waste and should leave. Nothing to add to this team anymore.

Robben's still one of our top attackers, which maybe says something about the rest of our attack. Maybe he should be used sparingly next season though.

But what you said in the other thread is absolutely spot on. When the defense and the midfield controls the game and generates chances, the attack needs to score. The attackers lately seem to take for granted the effort of the rest of the team. Watching Hummels put everything on the line for the team, only for the attackers to waste the chance is killing me. Robben is just as guilty when it comes to why we keep losing big ties.

Seriously, our two center backs were our two goal scorers. The attack needs to step up or we need to find new attackers.

So he was luckless but to you Lewandowski is to blame? They were both shit but Robben even more so. He doesn't care about how hard the team worked to get the ball to him, and he wasted it every single time he got a chance. At least Lewandowski dropped deep and put on some defensive shift. I'm objective is all.

Other teams figured out Robben. The best he can do nowadays is drop the ball off to Lahm. :/

He is far more effective when Müller is on the pitch, Müller loves to sit in the half space and draw Robbens second marker off. He's also alway there to give Robben that 1-2 layoff that sets Robben up to shoot from the edge of the box. Robben ends up super isolated without Müller

While I agree that we need to move on and sign someone new, he's still one of the best players we have in the current squad.

Yeah and pyrasur mentioned that too.

That is a problem. We should now get the players who can shove him down to 4th in the pecking order, or even out of the club entirely.

Would you care to name the 3 players we could sign, who could potentially shove him down to 4th in the pecking order?

Dembélé, Bernardo Silva, Mbappé, Bernardeschi to name a few. Basically any decent winger who plays for the team and not his own ego, who wouldn't cost us games because they're trying too hard. They don't need to be better players than Robben, they just need to be more useful. Robben's useless.

With that you basically just called our entire offensive line completely useless.

Well, nothing creative about your choices. You basically went with the most hyped targets of the summer. And statistically speaking, they haven't even been better than Robben.
