I like Ottl as a player and have always thought he could be good, but I'm not sure he is good enough to ever start at FC Bayern consistently with the likes of Schweinsteiger, Van Bommel, Tymo, Altintop, and Kroos ahead of him.
Therefore I think he should stay at Nurnberg as he could be a solid player and most importantly, a consistent starter.

If tymo leaves, Ottl will stay here....
It really depends on Tymo's situation

It's funny how so many players don't want to leave Bayern and LVG has recognized that this will be a problem...if a few players don't leave then it will affect the development of the newly promoted ones and the playing time for the slow starters.

Given his competition, Ottl sounds like Hleb to me; he says he wants to fight for position but he really intends to warm the bench for the most part.

This is stupid...
BS31 and MvB are our CDM starters... Pranjic and Alaba seem to be our backups for that position... And We also have Altintop... and we know that even Kroos can play there......
So It's reasonable for Tymo and Ottl to leave us... Come on Ottl... What do you think you'll achieve sitting on the bench...? or maybe not even there...

Recently I've noticed that many of our reserve players don't really leave the club easily.... Why is that???
Do we pay more than enough salaries than they won't be able to earn in other clubs?

Time for overhaul!
