Brazilians think the title belongs to them already, that's brazilian players attitude in the pitch too, arrogant and too cocky, they're gonna be pissed off if Germany beats them. [-o<

PS their acting talent isn't to be underestimated, they're world renown masters for putting pressure on referees if nothing else works, adding the fact that this tournament is on their home soil, it's gonna be one hell of a game.
Neuer - Boateng, Martínez, Hummels - Kimmich, Thiago, Alaba - Bernardeschi, Müller, Coman - Lewandowski

I have a big big feeling that Brazil are going to be ushered to the final... this media frenzy about that school boy injury is getting on my nerves...
Everybody gave a s*** when Reues picked that nasty injury at the hands of the Armenian beast...
On a particular sport prog I've saw a headline saying that Brazil are going to appeal against the T.Silva's suspension... [-X

For me, this justifies Messi's low goal tally for Argentina. For a team rich in wingers and forwards, they lack a no.10. =D>

Wish he wasn't so attached to Barcelona. He is the only likeable guy in that team these days, besides Shakira anyway ;). It wouldn't be poetic if he didn't retire there, and our club could never accommodate even Lionel Messi without pissing off a large portion of the fanbase. But it's still a damn shame he can't play for us :/

the team who is to play Germany in the WC final is irrelevant... it will be a totally different game from the one we witnessed today.
Argentina have a very very solid team + Messi while the Nederlands have Robben flying all over the pitch fouled or not... + LvG

=D> Congrats to Klose. And I think Ronaldo is there as well to witness his own record being broken. My TV showed him briefly and the commentator said he's working as a commentator or something.

Poignant contrast in Brazil.

Will their ousting focus the attention to the real issues in Brazil?

Yeah, Ronaldo was shown commenting in the press box after Klose was subbed off.

Miro fully deserved this. A great football striker who gives all his best for his NT, even at the old age of 36. Let's hope he scores 1 more next Sunday and raises the bar for Muller ;)

I don't think Argentina would be that big of a deal. They've hardly been tested this WC and haven't shown much besides of a couple of Messi moments. I frankly believe many of Argentina's players are hugely overrated; guys like Di Maria, Agüero, Higuain... While good, I don't think they are the beasts everyone says them to be. Netherlands OTOH, with the genius-streak Van Gaal and Robben are in... If Germany plays possession football, they can expect a fully parked bus and plenty of long balls to Robben, which has the potential to be very dangerous.

I'm about to read Honigsten's new articleand it starts like this.
The German coach has been keeping a diary to help him focus on the ‘tiny details’ needed for his side to win the World Cup

I can't get out the image of Loew, in his bed, lying on his stomach, feet in the air, writing to his diary: (in German of course :P)
Dear Diary,
Today, I proved all my haters wrong. My team came in like a wrecking ball!

How come ‘best league in the world’ has hardly featured at Brazil 2014? [source]

A good reality check for EPL. WC is about showcasing the talent nations produced, not the ones they attract.

The basic idea of the Premier League, where clubs buy ready-made and then sweat their assets, is anathema to all this old-fashioned geographically specific midsummer glory. It is here that the Premier League jags away on its own tangent. In the past 20 years there has been a Ligue 1 World Cup, a Brasileiro World Cup, a Serie A World Cup and a La Liga World Cup. It is no secret how this has happened. The best national teams have been serviced by notable successes in their own domestic leagues, with players tending to arrive in clumps, nurtured by some happy combination of the right system and the right talents at the right time. Perhaps this time round we may even end up celebrating a Bayern Munich World Cup.

This is something that seems a long way off in England, where teams are bought in on the hoof and where there is no functioning youth-to-first-team pathway. Until this blockage is removed and ambitions rejigged it seems likely the Premier League will remain a summer-tournament outsider, a league that fills in energetically at the edges, that provides soap opera and personality rather than players – and as a result has seemed most engaged at Brazil 2014 during the familiar moralising paroxysms of bites and fouls – and which will rake over the high-priced scraps in autumn. But which, beyond that, remains a background noise beneath the real action.

Suarez is the most notable EPL player. =D>

Yes, it will almost certainly be close. But I am convinced Germany won't let it slip now.
