Don't really like Belgium because they're the PL fanboys' team of choice now England are out. Good to see a BuLi player get the opening goal though!

That was one of the most entertaining games in the tournament. End-to-end football. Howard was exceptional. Belgium will be causing Argentina a lot of problems in the next round. They started off slowly but are improving with every game.

I'm so tired after this awesome match. I just can't believe it, every single favorite knocked out their opponents. No matter if they had played 120 minutes, the winner was favorite. Chile, Mexico, Alegria, Switzerland, Nigeria, USA... The only exception is Costa Rica-Greece. Fúck! I'm a bit pissed off.
I wanted to see Mexico and Chile in 1/4 finals, even Yankees who have played so brave, hats down for tonight's historic match. What a mentality...
Even though USA were 2 goals back, they kept fighting, scored 1 goal and almost another one. Too bad that my favorite Clint Dempsey didn't score that fantastic chance after perfect free kick flipper combination unlike Germany's circus show day before, shít!

Bayern amateur Julian Green scored, haha. =D> =D> I really enjoyed, outstanding shot with the top of his foot, ie fingers.
He did right when he chose his USA to play. In Germany he wouldn't have any chance to play.
Therefore, we will watch this young boy playing on big scene, Gold Cup and next World Cup.

Absolutely. I was talking about Belgium though. Switzerland and USA were my two other teams because of their many German based (and in US case 'German') players, and German ex Bayern managers

Well done Team USA and Klinsi. The excitement over soccer will die down a bit but you've done your bit to advance the beautiful game. Way to never say die.

What a heartbreaker. :/ I started caring way too much. I don't remember caring so much about the result of any sporting match in my life. It was really great football, the best the US have played all tournament, Bradley finally sort of being good, and the youngsters stepping up in the biggest match of their lives. And Howard's ridiculous performance. I can't really ask for more from American soccer, at least not now.

No one has mentioned Yedlin but I thought he was really good in the 2 or 3 games he played in for the USA. I'm not used to seeing a player represent the red white & blue with such pace and dribbling ability.

Yeah, he was amazing in the last game, and solid in the other games. He put forth some really excellent crosses.

I am really impressed with Klinsmann - the US defence was superb... I really liked their CBs - where do they play?

IMO the 4 most teams that know what they're doing are : 1. Colombia, 2. France 3. Nederland 4. Belgium these deserve to be in the last 4. However I guess that it will be Arg vs Bra in the final with Ned v Fra or Ger to play in the 3rd place play-off

Well done to all teams. Apart from Uruguay all of the other 15 teams would have deserved to qualify.
