It should be a nice hard fought battle between Hrvatska vs El Gringos ...

Ufffff, don't say it. Marquez and his esses are gonna be spicy challenge. Mexico is awesome and Hrvatska will have to run and play like it's the last match in their lives.

After 16 years and our best team ever, 3:0 victory against Germany, tonight we broke the WC record. Now it's 4:0 the biggest victory on World Cups. :)

Spanish Party time over. Now let's hope it's Germany's time. We already got the beer supply ready.

I was expecting Chile to beat Spain. If you've watched them more often you would have seen that they are an incredible team. Play with pace, move the ball very quickly and are genuinely a unit. Alongside Japan they are my dark horses for this tournament. Lovely team to watch. I'm a bid sad that Spain will leave the tournament so early but on the other hand I really didn't want Chile to go home either.

I wouldn't be surprised to see them get first place as well, the Dutch are without RvP for their next match which means Robben will have to put in an extra shift. Going by what I saw against the Aussies I think Chile might snatch the first position. I feel bad for Ylonen as well! :(

I've just seen this comment: "Croácia está chutando bundas! Pelo menos no futebol e nas ruas brasileiras com meninas brasileiras! :D"

Haha, too bad that I can't go to Brasil. I'd probably try figure out something to stay there or meet some nice girl to solve me papers.

I took a huge hit on my predictions thanks to my overoptimistic faith in Cameroon and downright bashing of Mexico. I won't mention Spain because there ain't a single lier who can say they didn't believe they'll make it top of their group.

Shaquira's message to her lover (?):

"Pique, tonight, NO WAKA-WAKA"

Spain's FA message to all: "Spain announces that if La Roja wins Spain will give away Paellas, Italy will give away Pizzas, Germany will hand out beers and..." At that minute, a member of the crowd stands up and people recognize him as Maradona. He screams... "And Colombia....? And Colombia????"

I expect this squad against Mexico. Absolutely Pranjić out because he is weak defensively and Šime Vrsaljko comes in just because Kovač saved him of booking against Cameron. Kovačić is still very young and we cannot rely on him after the first two matches.

Mexicans have strong, aggressive, compact midfield which is almost impossible to break from what we have seen in their match against Brasil and that's why Croatia needs to start without #10.

We saw last night that most of Croatian actions come from both sides/wings and it's normal to strengthen the middle with one classic destroyer to get on aggression. Against Brasil Vukojević missed in the situation where he would surely stopped Neymar and get booked, unlike Modrić and Rakitić.

I'd just like to rant about how pissed off I am about FIFA for not allowing 3D broadcasting for the World Cup because extra cameras would have been needed which would have affected some seating. Meh! In future when someone is looking at old replays and stumbles upon World Cup 2014 they'd be like: "f**k they still didn't have 3D in 2014?!"

So I'm there sitting pretty on the sofa in front of my home theatre setup and wondering whether the investments I've made are at all worthwhile.

World cup 2010 was broadcasted in 3D, right ? It was when 3D was a fad.

Yes... One of the reasons I bought a satellite dish and receiver at home was to watch the world cup in 3D. I never expected such a huge event to not have 3D considering I saw some Bundesliga matches in 3D!
