I just found out that FC Bayern U19 have Lucas Scholl in their ranks. He is the son of Mehmet Scholl :)

Yup. They are listed under the U19s squad. I have doubts about Hojbjerg as he is already listed on the senior CL squad. Not sure if that makes him ineligible or something.

Well, I didn't know he was Scholl's son.
And he is U17. :P
Surely eligible and chances of making into the 25 or whatever the number is for squads in UEFA YL is less. Even less chances for playing time if he is selected.

I'm just excited. I would have to watch highlights for this one. It's at 5.30pm here and I'll be at work. Will probably get to watch last 15 mins or so.

I'm assuming he's Scholl's son because he was called Lucas and born on 5th July 1996, same as the player in the U19 :)

Pic of father and son in 2007:

He's a right-footed central midfielder who can also play in left midfield and central attacking midfield. He turned 17 during preseason so he should have been eligible to play for the U17 team, but he's already been subbed in 3 times for the U19s. [source]

No. Markoutz plays for the U19, but Green has been registered with the senior team, same as Zingerle, Schmitz, Sallahi, Weiser, Hojbjerg, Schoepf, Rankovic and Weihrauch. [source]

The 8 home grown talents(2 years) spot. I knew that. :P
They should still be eligible for YL. :)
Otherwise who is gonna play?

From this article there's an important point.

An U19 player can play in the UEFA Youth League, but after 3 appearances in the Champions League he would be unable to continue playing in the UEFA Youth League. This means even Hojbjerg would be able to play in the UEFA Youth League.
