What is going on? Really great prospect, hot name coming from a marvelous year with Sassuolo, Corluka as a starter?

Ćorluka should be a starter IMO,he always pulls some crucial tackles in important matches, and lets not forget that he also scored some nice goals for the NT, he's driven by emotions mostly which is good in his case. Vrsaljko should play, Srna can still bite, but Vrsaljko has the quality and potential that should get a chance in every team at the current Football stage.

I expect this match to be a delight after these booring presentations of poor football. Cro and Tur have quite some football history, and both were left with a bitter taste from the others hand .

I hope Croatia wins this cus also this time theres quite some hype around our NT, which we usualy never live up to, usualy but not this time . New fire, old place, same faith . ( Šuker at the same stadium 1998 )

I'd be very surprised if you fail to win vs Northern Ireland. I think Poland will finish with 3-4 points though.

Isn't it always like that? Fitst games are rarely good... Also, with all due respect, that Euro is too big! Too many teams there that aren't good enough...
Thanks for nothing, :pep: !!

Turkey: three Germans in starting XI, three more on the bench.

With your same logic how many non Germans are going to be wearing the german kit tonight?

With my logic all Nationalmannschaft players are born in Germany except for Podolski, unless I'm mistaken.

So do you sincerely believe that someone who never set foot on a country, sometimes not even on holiday, has a right to represent it, simply based on some ancestor having spent part (or all) of his/her life there?

Super hit from Modric. Croatia is really good, though I'm not sure if constantly hitting crosses to Mandzukic and Perisic is a good idea with Modric and Rakitic able to glide through the middle instead. Oh how the Croatians could use a silky, technical striker...
The ideal team

Finally some good football. I rate Modric's goal better than Payet's.
Perfect coordination and timing.

Take Malta as an example. What makes Alfred Effiong Maltese?
Both his parents are Nigerian and he was born in Nigeria ...
