Our fine cricketers do not deserve to be compared to the spineless, over paid tossers in France!

Anyway now to see if South Africa can chase 289 to beat the Aussies

I know where your preferences are but I wanted to joke...
As for the EU thing... Do you want your country to keep on paying for the non English jobless ppl?
Do you want to be part of an EU army ?

England played very well in the first half. They really shouldn't have conceded that goal. Game does not end until the referee blows the whistle...

For everyone criticising England, in my opinion they're the best team we've seen play so far. Let's see what Germany pull off tomorrow. I'm gaining confidence after the first 2 days.

I know I know and besides the cricket team can be equally embarrassing (2015 world cup and 2013/14 Ashes series in Australia for example)

Well, there are far more immigrants contributing to the economy than not. As a proud European I'm obviously going to have a slightly biased viewpoint, but I believe we get more money out of being in the EU than we lose. Also as a left wing voter, I'm terrified of the prospect of the Conservatives having free reign to implement their policies with no restrictions. It's no coincidence that the Right are the most vociferous critics of the EU

The circus of England is touring at France, book your tickets now

As always England can't deliver, nothing new nothing not expected! They deserve to win though, they were the better team on the pitch but they just can't do it, simple as that. Ninth(!) 9th time in a row that England couldn't win the opener game, unbelievable stat.
I'm wondering if they can't win this Russian team which IMO was the worst team(worst performance at least) from the 8 teams that played until now when they will deliver finally?

Sterling, it's a shame that this player is consider as "top" and playing as a starter for England... disgrace

I guess you could say I'm left wing but not a communist  I think a "Brexit" would be bad for Common workers' rights. With regards immigration. I'm a supporter of free movement as long as they integrate well and contribute to the economy. Sadly many do not, but the main culprits are not from Europe or have anything to do with the EU.

SA lose their first wicket. De Kock finds the fielder in the deep who takes a simple catch

I know it is OT.
Why do you think it will affect the workers badly?
I am not in favor of FM ... Esp here in tiny Malta...
As in regards to their integration I think they do it quite well.
The non Euro ones are the ones who prefer the Ghettos

lol you shouldn't have to point out that "even though" you are a conservative voter, you "do" have sympathy for the poor.

In doing so, you allow the left to dominate the conversation. Don't let them associate you with callousness toward the poor when it's their foolhardy policies that create barriers to socioeconomic mobility and perpetuate poverty in the first place. ;)
